"Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded, it is someone's fault if they failed," the ex-Godfather's Pizza CEO declared.
I bow to this man! this will piss off the lazy bums

That is awesome! But I DO wish they'd stop referring to him by "ex-Godfather's pizza ceo" etc, vice his real name.

2. And let me add that it was because of both Black and White people who DIED, for civil rights that he's had opportunities to succeed.
Gah, I really can't stand him.
So you think he should "belong" to the Democrat Party since they've managed to co-opt the history of civil rights in this country? Unless he gets back on that liberal plantation where Massa Reid and Massa Schumer will tell him what he's supposed to believe, you DUmmies will continue to demean him as "The Pizza Man"?
Tell me again who the racists are in this country.

I want more Cain!

I want to see him in some more debates but more and more I think he could take Obama to the ringer come 2012. He is the Great White Hope!

We all stand on the shoulders of giants. How do we best honor them? Do we insist on giving handouts to their heirs, or do we allow their heirs to succeed by their own merits?
If I remember on of those "Black" (sic) people who died said something about this...
"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Yep, all of us can sure pay these bills on either the long odds of a crapshoot or 6 applicants for every ONE job, Hermster.

Nine Reasons Why Republicans Ought to Nominate Herman Cain (http://spectator.org/archives/2011/10/04/nine-reasons-why-republicans-o)
>>> Over the past week or so, with straw poll triumphs in Florida and Illinois, Herman Cain has begun to strike the right chord with Republican voters and has seen his poll numbers rise. So here are nine reasons why Republicans should nominate Herman Cain for President.
1. He Has No Sense of Entitlement
2. He Worked at Burger King
3. He Has Never Held Elected Office
4. He Is a Mathematician
5. He Was a CEO
6. He Is The Adult in the Room
7. He Would Make Liberal Charges of Racism Look Really, Really Stupid
8. The Content of His Character
9. 9-9-9
Read the details. (http://spectator.org/archives/2011/10/04/nine-reasons-why-republicans-o) Good stuff.

I'm just not keen on the national sales tax. That has the real potential of Congress taking it and running off the end of the earth with it. It happened in Europe, it can damn well happen here.
Other than that, I'm on board with Cain.

That worries me a little too. The 9% sales tax is only on new goods which is supposed to not effect the poor who he says should be buying used cars, etc. anyway. BUT, I think it will cause fewer people to buy new goods and therefore drive up the price of used whatevers.
Other that, I'm all in for Cain.
-
So far he has my vote.
I thought I liked Christie until I heard about all of his liberal leaning views on guns/homosexuality. He is only conservative on spending it seems.

yeah same here. i would like the whole "super majority to raise rates" and combined with balanced budget amendment that should really handicap future/increased spending.

im afraid that could lead to a slower growth than we need. but not stagflation like we got now now though

The 9-9-9 plan is a moot point. Even if he were elected, Cain could never get it through congress. Both parties like using the tax code for give aways to their voters. That is why it has gotten so complex.

I'm afraid you're 100% correct. Between the congresscritters and the bloodsucking leeches otherwise known as lobbyists, no way could Cain get that through Congress. Too many cottage industries wrapped up in the tax code as well.
What would all those tax attorneys do? :panic: :panic:

That's the nice thing about Home Depot. So long as the world's supply of plastic buckets and portland cement holds out, you can MAKE as many as is necessary. :-)

Same treatment they gave VP Cheney. They would always use the phrase "former Halliburton CEO" whenever they mentioned his name.
I'm liking Mr. Cain more and more each day. He reminds me of the no nonsense principal that whipped a failing inner city school into shape in the movie "Lean On Me"
