Two thoughts on repubican politics

Number one: Chris Christie may well be the smartest of the bunch. He teased and he flirted, he demurred and smiled. He made them *want* him. And then he gave an answer that can't be faulted. "I'm not ready yet." The singularly most elegant bowing out while leaving the door wide open I have ever seen.

Number two: Sarah. Her irrelevancy has made herself completely irrelevant. I hope this is minute 16, but I fear it may only be a looooooong 14.

For the moron conservative assholes who thought they might one day hear "I, Sarah Louise Palin, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States..." I got one thing for ya, pallie: Hahahahahahahaha. You're dumber than she is - and *that* is dumb.

Oh . . . an afterthought: It will be Mittens. And NO one will be happy about his being there, especially not moron conservative assholes.

The primitives are great imitators, aping decent and civilized people.

You've got nadin doing my own "oh my" thing, for example.

But an even better example is the Polaroid kid Pedro Picasso, the Atman primitive, who apes USA4ME's rather curious placement of a period.

USA4ME one time explained the "why" to me, but it's been a long time.

He used to brawl with Pedro at our old home, and sometime thereafter Atman started imitating him.

Imitation of course being subconscious flattery.

The primitives never have an original idea; they have to steal creativity from others.

Unfortunately, both would have been up against the superficial expectations of political figureheads and that would have made them both unlikely to win. Other than that, I'm not super-impressed...yet...but there is a lot of time to go and I'll look forward to seeing who the stand out is and his/her contenders and what he/she is about. I don't have time to research 12 different candidates and I know full well most of those will be out of the running well before voting time. I'd rather wait until the field narrows since I don't really hold a lot of sway in narrowing the field until that time anyway. Nice assumptions though, clown.

Their views are preconceived. I've always enjoyed how they paint everyone else as narrow minded when they are the biggest offenders on the planet when it comes to pigeon holing the ideas, preferences, and way of life of those they disagree with.

That about sums it up. I can pretty well guess that if I engage a certain type of liberal(read DUer) and they don't like the way I think, they will scrutinize anything in my own life to either try and find a gotcha moment or make me into some boogieman that justifies my way of thinking. Because of that I measure what I say to liberals in real life until I know that they are the sort that can handle a little ribbing criticism. It's like dealing with a child prone to unexpected outbursts, but like the child with tantrums, once in a while they need a good spanking lest their bad behavior continues in site of the rest of the decent public.
