Lincoln definitely said this, however (incl. citation)
"Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration."
-- December 3, 1861 - Lincoln's First Annual Message to Congress
I don't think the Repukes would care to have this quoted back at them.

That is true, sort. Labor creates capital, but there has to be an original idea and investment before labor can be used to create more capital.
Lincoln also said things the DUmmies may not like as much.
"Property is the fruit of labor...property is desirable...is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built."
"Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle."
"You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."

It's amazing that they claim to like "labor" so much yet refuse to do some. I used to bitch about them sitting on their good-for-nothing asses leeching from the government, but I'm to the point now that I don't really care if they keep leeching as long as they'll stop destroying the economy and country so I can do some labor and make some money.

I can tell you that starting and running a company is hard labor. Not 40 hours/week but 60-90 hours/week. It goes hoe with you, you are always thinking or working on your company. That is the labor that you lazy ass punks want to take away from those that labor in taxes.
Coming in and sitting on your butt, taking every little break, using every single sick day, not showing up when a vital shipment to make payroll must go out, and putting in less than 70% effort is not labor. It's parasitic to those people that really do over and above work. You deserve nothing but scorn for living off the productive and bitching about how they do not do enough for your worthless sack of shit lives.

Right on....bravo....but you're singing to the choir.
