Going postal...it's not just for the post office any more.

This is in my neck of the woods, I don't like that he isn't in custody yet and that he apparently shot somebody else in a carjacking attempt.

Given the name does sound sort of Muslimish, I don't think it is this time.

What lead up to all this, something set him off.

I bet his mom named him something like "Larry" or "James". "Shareef Allman" sounds like a convert.
Allman is believed to have shot another person in the leg on the campus of Hewlett Packard after attempting to carjack her vehicle. He was unsuccessful in the attempt, and proceeded to flee on foot. Police have surrounded a nearby residence, where they believe Allman to be holed up inside.

Many rumors swirling around. I had a facebook link earlier for him and his son with photo. It has changed now.

[CUPERTINO, Calif. (AP) _ Authorities say a disgruntled employee opened fire at a Northern California quarry, killing two people and wounding six others.
Santa Clara County Sheriff's spokesman Jose Cardoza said the shooting at Lehigh Southwest Cement Company occurred around 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Cardoza said the employee, who has not been identified, walked into a safety meeting with a handgun and rifle and opened fire.
He then left the meeting and began walking around the quarry grounds. Cardoza says he remains at large. Authorities got a report of a man who matched his description and was armed with a handgun and rifle nearby.

Or maybe he is the product of a mixed marriage like Juan Epstein, the Puerto Rican Jew on "Welcome back Kotter".
5 to 1 he doesn't make it to the jailhouse alive, Northern California SWAT tends to shoot first and ask questions later.

So his Facebook and now his Youtube have quickly been scrubbed. That's mighty fishy.
Either he is running around with a handgun, a rifle and an iphone or law enforcement is all over his stuff.

Fred Romero, whose two brothers were injured in the shooting, came up from Gilroy after getting a phone call at 4 a.m. “saying there had been an incident at the quarry.’’
When they arrived, they learned one of the brothers had been killed and the other was on his way to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
“Both of my brothers were long-term employees,’’ Romero told NBC 11, asking that his brothers’ names be withheld. “Both of them were union safety leaders.’’
“They were in a safety meeting at 4 a.m. and things escalated out of control. It’s been an ongoing situation, a labor dispute.
Romero told NBC 11 that the dispute was over budget cuts and hours, because there’s been a slowdown in construction.
The brother who was killed had worked at the plant for 30 years, Romero said, and leaves behind a son and daughter and five grandchildren.

It almost sounds like a typical unionista. We don't care if you aren't selling the product, keep paying us to make it.

Police said Allman walked into a meeting at his workplace in Cupertino at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and opened fire. Two people were killed and six other were shot, according to police. Police said Allman drove off and then shot a woman as he tried and failed to steal her car in an HP parking lot before running into a neighborhood in nearby Sunnyvale.
Allman lives in San Jose. The Mercury News reported that neighbors said they were shocked to hear that he was the man they heard about on the news was Allman. One man told the paper that he had spoken to Allman a couple days ago about growing up in the hood and finding a way to turn their life around. "It makes no sense," Albert Salazar said. "He must have snapped. I couldn't believe it when I heard it was him this morning."

You have got to be kidding me. This guy killed two people (RIP) and injured many others over a stupid labor dispute? I am so sick and f-ing tired of unions.

"Nice business you got there. Be a shame if anything happened to it."
:thatsright:
What a horrible situation. And if all it boils down to in the end is union pork and fattening a few brother's wallets.... Really. I don't know what to say.

I wouldn't rule out a racist issue, yet. Unlikely that it will be covered much if there is a racial component though. He supposedly had a public access TV show where he championed minority rights.

Are you serious? His entire background is that of a racist, from Jesse Jackson to "minority rights." This will, I agree, never be covered by the once MSM.

I did see an article that claimed that one of his complaints was that he was being discriminated against because he was black. Apparently he was very recently moved to the overnight shift.

Sad to say that many unions are not very minority friendly, and never have been.
-
The real sad part is we in California are going to get a bunch more gun control laws that will do nothing.

I loved the night shift, especially the midnight to 8 am shift...and swing shifts were great...I made more money on the side then than I did working my job.

For all his talk about family, has he any idea of what this is going to do to his daughter. Now she has no parent to raise her.[28]

Yep. Liberals, the true racists.

Calif. workplace killing suspect reportedly shot dead
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44799232/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/
CUPERTINO, Calif. — The suspect in the shootings at a California quarry that left three dead was shot and killed Thursday morning after a massive manhunt, law enforcement sources told NBC affiliate KNTV.
Shareef Allman, believed to be the gunman who fired shots at a company safety meeting on Wednesday, was reportedly shot by police in the Sunnyvale neighborhood that police had searched a day earlier.
TV footage showed police cars gathered in the neighborhood and authorities pulling a tarp over what appeared to be a body in front of a home.
The shootings and subsequent manhunt had stunned Allman's friends. They described him as a devoted single father of two, a strong Christian and the author of a novel about the evils of domestic violence.

Allman would attend every one of his daughter's basketball games, or any event she was in.
"You talk about Mr. Mom," said Sandra Dailey, 54, who described herself as a close friend. "He never missed an event. He was an incredible father."
[/b] Such a incredible father???????????????????????????????????????????????????
