Poll question: Should Hank Williams Jr. have been dumped by ESPN for the Hitler/Obama comment?
Hank Williams Jr., the singer whose various videos for the hit song "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Monday Night" has served as the intro to "Monday Night Football" for 23 seasons, compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler during a Monday morning appearance on "Fox and Friends." The statement led to ESPN pulling his popular intro segment, best known to fans for its "Are you ready for some football?" ending, for Monday night's game between the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
During a discussion on the 2012 presidential race, Williams began discussing Obama's golf outing with Speaker of the House John Boehner. He said it was a political mistake, on par with "Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu."

Williams, perhaps best known for his "are you ready for some football?" lead-in to ESPN's Monday Night Football, Monday compared this summer's so-called golf summit between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner as "one of the biggest political mistakes ever."
As Williams put it on Fox News' Fox & Friends: "It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu."
When asked on Fox to explain his analogy, Williams said Obama and Vice President Biden are "the enemy."
In a statement Monday night, Williams says that with his comment about Obama and Boehner playing golf this summer he was "simply trying to show how stupid it seemed to me -- how ludicrous that pairing was." Williams says Boehner and Obama "are polar opposites and it made no sense. They don't see eye-to-eye and never will."

Hank wasn't saying that Obama was Hitler, but it sure sounds like the DUmmies are all too willing to jump to that conclusion. Therefore, they must think Obama is Hitler.

Mole poll. Anyone who thinks Williams shouldn't have been pulled with eat a granite cookie before sunrise.

"Don't say nothing bad about my baby....oh no...."
Can't remember the rest of the song... :whistling:
:stoner: <<<that smilie looks like Bonnie Fwank having an intimate moment.

A bit off topic but on the topic of Monday night Football did you happen to catch this:
Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Eric Foster suffered a gruesome injury to his right ankle as teammate Tyler Brayton rolled over him, pinning Foster's leg in an awkward position.
Foster had to be carted off the field and stayed overnight in a Tampa-area hospital, according to NFL.com.
Several Colts players were in tears as the medical staff tended to Foster, who will require surgery to repair the injury.
Talk about the Chickification of Football, come on man.

Well, the NFL is well on its way to outlawing all physical contact on the field, and college games are being suspended whenever it rains, and can you imagine Sam Huff or Dick Butkus wearing pink cleats?
But the Colts players have good reason to cry this season, with Peyton in the pressbox. They were crying before the guy broke his ankle.

Yeah and they want kids to try and tackle a running back with their arms as he goes by these days. Leads to nothing but arm injuries and does nothing to stop head injuries.

A little back on topic. They dropped Hank Jr. for their own stupidity in misunderstanding what he said. They think he implied Obama was Hitler, but he didn't. However, Madonna did call President Bush Hitler, and guess who is performing at the Super Bowl Half Time show? Yep, that slut Madonna.

Good point. Had forgotten all about that.
