We had a Border's and a Barnes and Nobles within a couple miles of each other, and I always went to the B&N when there was a choice.  The Border's just gave me something to do if I was waiting for my table to be called at a nearby restaurant.  I did take advantage of their closing sale though.   :-)

I shop at Amazon or the used book store here.  Neither one gives me a load of shit or rolls their eyes when I ask for something.  Your attitudes are what caused the collapse of your business.  I would rather poke myself in the eye with a freshly sharpened #2 pencil than ask any questions at any book stores owned by huge chains.
