Just a reminder: Obama’s jobs bill still has no cosponsors

Remember when Barack Obama addressed a joint session of Congress to introduce his American Jobs Act, exhorting them on national television to “pass this bill immediately”?  Obama used that phrase in various forms 17 times despite the fact that he didn’t actually have a bill to present to Congress until a week later.  And as far as all but two members of Congress are concerned, the bill itself may as well not exist.  No co-sponsors have added their names to either the Senate or the House version even after more than a week, although readers have to dig a ways into the Washington Post report to find that out.

All the more reason to believe that the so-called American Jobs Act is nothing but political riff-raff which Barry will attempt to use against the Repubs. I guess he didn't bother to look and see if the Dems would line up behind it. So far, no takers.  :lmao:

Say what you want about the shortcomings of Conressmen and Senators in general, but at least by and large they can smell failure from a mile away.

Yeah, but even though dogs have an incredible sense of smell, they just don't seem to react negatively to their own dog farts.

There's a parallel here somewhere, I just KNOW it!  :rotf:

Yeah...and dogs, like democrats, will sniff out cow dung and badly decomposed carcasses and then roll and wallow in/on it....the stink attracts them. :-)

Despite that and having an inexplicable taste for shit, dogs would probably still be preferable to human Congresscritters.  They'd be pro-hunting, and none of them would still be sticking around screwing things up for 30 years after their first term started.

Since he's calling out Cantor over it, but not the Senate Dems who blocked it, exactly.
