Title: Most interesting NFL game 10/2/2011
Post by: Duke Nukum on October 01, 2011, 11:33:06 PM
As a Green Bay Packer fan, I think the most interesting game this week is the Lions at Cowboys. The Lions are hungry and seem for real. Last week Dallas seemed to be a one man team.

Part of me would like to see Detroit win and have the Packers continue to win until Thanksgiving Day. OTOH, Rodgers took a brutal beating last time the Pack met Detroit. It was a brutal day in general, my Dish was out and I got a brick caught in my snowblowers auger. So I'd just as soon have Detroit taken down a level by then.

By way of my pal, non sequitur, "Everything happens again, for the first time" as the Great Poet, Borges, wrote.

Since there were no games of interest to me early, me and my girlfriend went out and picked some apples at a local orchard. It was a very nice day.

I followed the game on my iPhone and did seem to be the most interesting game.

I did watch Denver @ Green Bay and while it was fun to see the Pack rack up nearly 50 points.

As things stand now, I am eagerly looking forward to Thanksgiving, which I don't think Green Bay has that great a record for Thanksgiving Day but who knows.

If either team collapses before the big day, well, the food should be good.

I had the Lions in a ten dollar bet. I was ready to hand the money over a few minutes before half time. Glad I stuck around to see the Cowboys self-destruct. lol

Biggest F-up of the season so far goes to Dallas.  What an epic fail.
