In an interview this evening with a local NBC affiliate in Orlando, President Obama claimed that America has "gotten a little soft."

Barry, if so, it's due to your own choices in subsidizing people who aren't working, and relieving half the people from having to pay for the shit you spend money on.

This is s-o-o-o-o-o history repeating itself.

I dunno if you're old enough to remember Carter's malaise speech, but it had a great deal to do with his electoral unsuccess a year later.

Of course, this time, the media's more sympathetic to the Magic One, and so this might not get the play the malaise thing did back in 1979--even though it should.
