Things are going to get worse before they get better.
That's not what I want, and that's probably not what you want.
But it's not negotiable.
The two major parties, the media, and pretty much all communication has long since been bought and paid for.
This has been the case since the 90s.
Add to this that there is no conspiracy - this is capitalism in action.
There is no boardroom of evil men, there is no cabal of dictators, there is simply the dollar, and those who would do anything for it.
Which makes things worse than if there were a conspiracy.
At least, if there was a conspiracy, we'd know who to go after. Who to arrest. Who to replace with the will of the people.
But there isn't.
And as a result, things are going to take some time to fix.
When too much power slides to the anarchy of capitalism, anarchy will be the result.
Europe is heading South. We will double dip soon after that. China will ride this out, and come up on top.
That much I know.
Everything else is anybody's guess.
Take care of your loved ones and friends.
And let them take care of you.
There is simply the dollar, and those who would doanythingnothing to earn it.
When too much power slides to the anarchy of capitalism, anarchy will be the result.

Tavs, just admit you have no clue what will happen next and spare everyone else the pain of slogging through your Pittian text-spacing games.
Theory: Taverner = TwixVoy.
Wasn't the twixter the one touting his (Or its) precious metal investment and talking incessant stupidity about that? If so, this would be the kind of post where ol' twix wouldn't be able to resist talking about that, if this was a sockpuppet

I bought the shirt from the Patriot Shop that reads, on the back, 'Invest in precious metals. Buy Lead."
If one has that precious metal, it's going to be real hard for some criminal to take away anything precious.
Yeah, that was TwixVoy who alleged making a killing on metals.Well, remember that TwixVoy was advising his co-workers to invest in gold while he worked uncrating melonballers in

the receiving department of a Target store. That career choice, coupled with a ravenous appetite for cannabis, makes it unlikely he
ever set aside enough money to buy even a single Krugerrand.
Then he was fired for insubordination, and began an extended period of unemployment, where every potential job dribbled away in a failed urine test.
At that point, if he had a Krugerrand, it would surely have ended up in one of those storefront "We Buy Gold" joints that sprouted in every rundown neighborhood strip mall.
Yes! I'd forgotten all about that. Quintessential DUmmie.
Reminds me of the time I went over there and did a search on "Drunk Fired Laid-off." Countless pages of returns.
Didn't he get fired on his first day at Whole Foods, for showing up drunk?
