What my friend witnessed tonight while cashiering at Wal-Mart.
From Facebook:

"I have never had such lack in faith of humanity as I have tonight...

A woman and her little girl were coming through my line at work today, along with another family pairing... the little girl had a big bag (32oz) of m&m's in her hands and was looking around the isle[sic] for who knows what. Her mother was distracted talking to the other pairings mother who's[sic] son was putting her groceries in her cart.

When I started to ring up the mother/daughters groceries up, she looked at her little girl and asked her for her candy so That I could ring it up for her. The little girl put her m&m's away on a shelf, and grabbed a small squeeze thing of applesauce and said "No mama, I want this instead." and she handed her mother the applesauce...

Her mother looked at it like she'd never seen something before. and said "What the hell is this? Applesauce? Eww. I'm not getting you applesauce." and so she puts the bottle back on the shelf and grabs the bag of m&m's and hands to me to ring up...

I almost didn't ring up them because, well for starters... Applesauce is a much better snack/treat than m&m's. The bag of m&ms was about 3 dollars, while the applesauce was 75 cents I think. and if those didn't mean much to you, the woman denied her little girls right of choice... A HEALTHY choice, mind you..."

A little girl's "right of choice"?
Applesauce on a shelf at a WalMart cash register?
A little girl who prefers applesauce to M&Ms?
Two pounds of M&Ms for three bucks?
Four strikes and you're out, DUmmy.
On top of that, DUmmy, you could be tombstoned for having a friend who works at WalMart.

1. I once saw a bumper sticker that said, "Out of My Child's Lunchbox Michelle!"
Not to worry lady, Mrs. Obama will not interfere with your right to raise a fat, out of shape, and diabetic before she's 20 years old, child.

We should take advice from the fat, out-of-shape First Wookie.

2. Some parents mean well
but you can bet mom don't like applesauce since she never developed the taste for it. A lot of it goes from generation to generation.

Also we are told this all the time. I recommend you watch the adds for V-8 juice for fruit and juice, and how they make fun of actually eating raw carrots... which are a healthier snack than the juice. This crap is all over.

I have no idea what the language-challenged nutcase nadin is trying to say.

Hey Matt...your friend is a condescending bitch! Did it ever occur to your friend that mom didn't recognize it because it looked so pathetic it could hardly be called applesauce? I make my own, takes about 20 minutes. It's got delicious chunks of apple and is flavored with just the right amount of nutmeg, cinnamon (and brown sugar if I'm making it for my grandchildren).

Applesauce at the checkout lane, not at the Walmart here. Mom knows her kid and probably knows the kid won't eat the applesauce.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.   The squeeze thing of applesauce and other fruit are for babies also, and while they are ingenius (my great-niece loves them, they are perfect for long car rides), they are ridiculously overpriced:

My kid hates the applesauce squeeze things. She's not a fan of applesauce in general (she doesn't like the texture) so if my kid begged me for it at the checkout, I'd tell her no also. Quick, call CPS on me! I'd rather my kid actually EAT the snack I buy her, rather than buy her something I know she won't like!

When these moonbats sanctimoniously go off on "healthy choice blah blah blah" it forces me to turn the opposite way.  It's not even 8:30 am yet, and my day has already been blessed with bacon.  Mmmmm

Bullshit.  Not even close.

So, had the girl wanted M&Ms and mom forced the applesauce on her, you'd have no problem with that, right Hitler?

Liberals are always about freedom to choose, just so long as you choose what they want you to choose.  But this whole story is a fabrication anyway, as usual, by a person who most likely believes that working at a Wal Mart register is a long-term career choice.

Still, to me the bag of M&Ms is what bounces the highest.
If I ever see two-pound bags of M&Ms for three bucks, I'm buying every bag on the shelf.

In the interest of fairness:

The bit about "a little girl's 'right of choice'" is as absurd as you state.

However, WMart does in fact have packets of shelf-stable applesauce with the other impulse items at check-out. It's pretty damned expensive ounce-for-ounce and its loaded with sweeteners and dyes so kudos to mom.

And yes, my own bunlets have chosen fruits and veggies over candy and they still do from time to time; a feat I managed, by the way, before the ascension of Michelle Obama.

And the only thing you can get for $3 from a WMart cashier is a blowjob.

hmmmmmmmm, that's interesting, I would charge at least $150 for a bj!! :hammer:, how do you like them apples???

Ps i don't like applesauce either, but then again I would feed my child before we went out, so i wouldn't have to buy her a snack at the store...

Maybe the mom was buying the M&Ms as a household snack, or a gift, or Halloween treat bags.. etc..  This sanctimonious clerk can feed her kids all the high-fructose-corn-syrup-laden applesauce she wants.  I'm with Cindie, I make my own and would never feed the store-bought crap to my kid.  The only store-bought kind that's remotely "healthy" tastes like cardboard.

Pell & chop apples, microwave for 5 minutes, add cinnamon, mash...voila - perfect applesauce!  The only thing that would make it better is M&Ms!

10. I saw co-worker at the grocery store, and her

daughter came up to her to ask if she could buy a piece of fruit. I forget what it was, but it was kind of expensive and she said "I don't think so". I said -"Get her the damn fruit! It's GOOD for her and it's money better spent than on unhealthy stuff that's cheaper!" I was kind of shocked (like you, my mom would have been giddy had I wanted something other than candy) and I think she saw it on my face so she said "Okay, we can get it". It was really none of my business, but that never stops me.

You would've talked to me like that I'd have popped you upside your head with a big bag of M&Ms.

For real.

Homemade applesauce is SO good.  My kids loved it.  My grandbabies did too.

What a bullshit story. Since when does any store stock applesauce at the checkout counters?

Candy, gum, breath mints, magazines.

Applesauce?

Just another excuse to bash working class people

 :rotf:

Yep.  And Walmart.

So DUmmie Modern_Mathew fraternizes with the little Eichmanns who work for the mom & pop destroying Corporate Whore-mart?

Very interesting. And noted. In triplicate. And forwarded to all the right people.

Sea, I want to know the names and addresses of men that will pay $150 for a BJ/   I can go down to the homeless shelter, pick up half a dozen girls and set down in your area--

Actually a well run traveling Whore house  is not unknown.

OK now how do we place a price on a BJ?????     Your price on the BJ is only what folks like Paris Hilton charge, idiots that go to her, more fun with a cheep vacuum and much cheaper.

This becomes a business decision, what is the cost of a good BJ.   Much to take intro consideration here, this is in fact business.

Sea you will  to get all that money , have to consider that you may only get $100. or less from the

I'm confused....

Fetuses don't have the right to choice to live or not.
Grown up adults, at least according to liberals, shouldn't have the right to choice of what to eat, or if they do, they should be taxed for certain choices.
School kids shouldn't have the right to choose what to eat.

Why does this one little girl in Wal-Mart deserve the right to choice that liberals actively seek to deny everyone else?
