The reason I think E Warren will be first lady POTUS

is that she's not a lifetime pro politician, so she does not speak in gray tones and equivocation. She leads. Second, she will surpass the base mobilization performed by Obama. She gets the traditional base and she will get the millions of single ladies who don't vote. Then watch her go on Univision. Nail meet coffin for GOP and the Latinos. Trust me I'm one of them.
Finally she has seen first hand how crappy advisers can cripple a presidency. She will have new blood, good advisors that the base essentially pre-approves. The third point is speculative on my part. But she's smarter than me and most of you, so I would not be surprised.
Like I've said before. She is dangerous to the GOP as a department head. She is absolutely kryponite to people like jeb bush as a politician when she gets in front of cameras. Warren plus a popular western state governor and it's game over .....

7. She's certainly become a darling of DU, but I think everyone is jumping the gun a little.

Let's she how she does in her senatorial race against Scott Brown. If she runs a great campaign and wipes the floor with him, she will obviously be in contention for 2016. If it's gaffe-prone and she loses, on the other hand, then not so much. She has a great opportunity to position herself for the future and I hope she makes the most of it.

9. Elizabeth Warren is great BUT

She alone cannot save America. Nor should we expect her to perform miracles. The GOP will not run and hide at her admittance to the Senate. They will attack, attack, attack. Nothing will stop them from attacking except the american voter.

She is great - but she needs help and support. I think it is premature to elevate aspirations of the presidency when she is just barely beginning to campaign.

12. I'm afraid of a different kind of getting "shot down"

If Elizabeth Warren comes close to being president and implementing real change we can believe in, I would fear for her life.

Well if she is rich she will be in danger from moonbats.

On what basis do the primitives think Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts) is going down next year?

I mean, yeah, sure, Massachusetts is one of the most corrupt machine-run states where the bosses create tons of votes out of thin air, but the bosses don't always win.

Is Brown down in the polls or something?

And if so, it's a little early to write him off.

<<haven't even bothered looking around for a pen to write Brown off.

The leftist media gave him a nice present -- "polling shows Warren ahead of Brown.."  (46-44) this has cemented his roll as the underdog.

Y'all know how much we love those underdogs right?

She has not much of a shot of unseating an incumbent who is well liked here.   I would like the DU to address how Ms. Warren maintained an (R) after her name until she was in her mid forties?   How do they reconcile that with their belief system?

She can also explain how she is legally accepting a salary from Harvard University when she is no longer working for them -- nice campaign contribution Harvard is making to her isn't it?

Martha Coakley tried to maintain a moderate liberal stance.   Warren is so far left the only people worshiping at her alter is the hard core base, and the leftist media.

I believe that would probably bet "Not Farming". I know there would be a lot less property tax and record keeping.

Mere baseless optimism.  As far as I am aware Brown vs, Warren is regarded as an even-money proposition at this point, and I personally think that's heavily influenced by the fact the electorate at large has not been significantly exposed to her arrogant, Wilsonian personality to any great degree yet.

All ladies are women...but not all women are ladies.

All gentlemen are men... but not all men are gentlemen.

One term refers to plumbing, the other to character.

The man writing this seeks to be a gentleman, and prefers the company of ladies to that of mere women.
