What would a Tea Party controlled America look like?
If the so called Tea Party ever overtook our government, what would they do to it? What would they do to US? Let your imagination run free: Glenn Beck as a senator? Michelle Bachman heading the department of education? Would they round up all the homosexuals, atheists, and 'put them somewhere'? Would they cut all funding for the poor and forget everything Jesus said about helping the less fortunate among us?
Would Christianity be the only recognized religion? Would evolution cease to be taught in schools? Would people be denied vaccines or medical help? Would we expand our wars the world over?
We laugh at them and dismiss them at our own peril. They ain't no joke.

If the tea party ruled this country, we would have a lean federal govt that doesn't spend money, just to spend money, people would be allowed all the freedoms
protected by the Constitution. The worst part for you DUmmies would not be the rich not getting soaked (though that would kill you) it would be you having to put down the bong, take a bath, and go find a job.

16. Most of these right-wing a$$hats
Have no idea what the "Articles of Confederation" are. If you asked 100 Teabaggers what the Articles of Confederation are, 87 of them would respond that it was memorabilia from the Civil War.
Amazingly, these idiots who "claim" to love the Constitution sooooo much, worship a failed document that our Constitution replaced.
How bad was it under the Articles of Confederation? Well, here's one take from the "pinko-commie-big gubmint" guy, George Washington.
George Washington had been one of the very first proponents of a strong federal government. The army had nearly disbanded on several occasions during the winters of the war because of the weaknesses of the Continental Congress. ... The delegates could not draft soldiers and had to send requests for regular troops and militia to the states. Congress had the right to order the production and purchase of provisions for the soldiers, but could not force anyone to supply them, and the army nearly starved in several winters of war.
Yeah, that was "good times" under the AOC, huh?
Yet the Constitution set up a weak fed govt, figure that one out DUmmy.

17. Unfair to Archie
The teabags are mean spirited, violent and flat out hateful. Archie was ignorant but had a heart of gold and regularly stood up for other people. No comparison whatsoever IMHO.
Yeah we are so mean, yet it is lefties who called Michelle Malkin a chink, figure that one out.

10. It would be like Nazi's all over again.. Look at what the Bachman's do to teh gays now.
They literally try to change them with a program... Already, "re-education" type of program.. Think about that implemented thru out the USA. I'm quite sure those who didn't play by their pre-designed rules of what an "American" was, would be sent off to some sort of detention camp for their own good. (I doubt anyone missed Santorum's response to the DADT question or the audiences booing of a uniformed soldier serving his country. (He certainly didn't look like the stereotypical homosexual they think of when they think gay; they are afraid the are going to "catch" it or that the soldier was brainwashed into being gay). AND we already know if people don't have enough money and they get sick, the response is to die. So, someone with a handicap would be pushed off into a camp or probably experimented on like was done back in Nazi times. The only poor people allowed to live amongst them would be their "servant" class. I'm assuming all brown people would def be rounded up and "sent back home", even if they had lived in this country their entire lives or from a small age.
It would be a fascist/ feudal society with an overzealous "Christian" fervor (Christian in only self-described ways-- not the true teachings). It would be the worst place on earth to live. Its why its refreshing to hear someone like Elizabeth Warren speak and draw a crowd back to sanity and places the righteous blame of the economic troubles squarely onto these corporations that are bleeding us dry. People like her scare the PTB because their voices and passions and values are the voices of reason, logic, and compassion. Its what we need more of to rise up out of the grass roots.
The gratuitous NAZI claim.

A recruiting bonanza !
True, all the freeloaders, and people who are too good to do hard work will run towards Marxism, luckily the majority will be too busy being productive and prosperous to participate.

I can imagine their rage when they head down to the commissary with their ration book and are told "Sorry comrade but this week there are no cheetos or pot".
Gives me a warm glow inside it does.

Only at the DUmp can you get a lecture on Jesus from a hateful subhuman like MoPaul.

I think it would be a lot like R.E.M.'s Shiny Happy People video. Everyone, including the seasoned citizens gainfully employed and at lot of singing and dancing, probably with shorter skirts though. 'Cause it's Utopia!
Whereas, if the DUmmies took controlled America would look at lot like They Might Be Giants' Birdhouse in your Soul video. Obama, or someone like him, would intone "I'm your only friend" a lot.

4% unemployment.
5% GDP growth.
A Budget surplus and reduction of overall debt.
IOW, the America that all the DUchebags say they want.

I Rush H. Limbaugh III do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Tea Party paranoia.
I LOVE IT !!

I'd probably be less annoyed and a little bit richer.

This is from over the weekend, but I wanted to point out
Michelle Bachman heading the department of education?
No, it would be nobody heading the department of education. Lights out, door shut, "For Rent" sign in the window.
I'd love to call up the DOEd and ask them "What're you working on today? What about yesterday? What's on the docket for tomorrow? What are your performance goals?" For all I know, they're over there drinking martinis all day long.
A Tea Party controlled country would have less bloated, ridiculous, self-serving bureaucracy. Less redundant departments which only serve to confuse the constituents. No silly studies about pot & hootch & hookers. No fretting about everyone's salt, sugar, fat, & fiber intake. No more booze cruises to San Franfreakshow.
We're not about putting atheists and gay people into camps. That sounds like it costs money. No way.
-
Seeing czars in the unemployment line comes to mind, not to mention thousands of bureaucratic functionaries, standing with them.
-
I see the parole board there in Missouri finally granted him a release.

Tossing Czars out after an election...
Would that be considered "Fired/Terminated for Cause"? :-) :fuelfire:

1. More jobs.
2. Balanced budget.
3. Lower taxes.
4. Sarah Palin's bust replacing FDR on the dime (may require change in size of dime).
That about sums it up.

I'd take any of that over the weak, embarrassing worldwide laughing stock we have on the golf course right now.

"What would a Tea Party controlled America look like?"
Hmm, I'm thinking like Texas, or South Carolina, or the South in general...you know, where the jobs are going.
What would a liberal-controlled America look like? I can think of one prime example: DETROIT.
-
My son and I were watching ESPN this afternoon. Chicago was the background. My son said it looked like some 3rd world dirty place.
I said yes it does. Everything a Liberal touches gets ruined.

Washington wanted the United States to be able to collectively defend themselves, so logically he wanted an all encompassing government? I didn't know Washington wanted the government to pay people not to work, manage their retirement planning (poorly), tell them what was approved for the classroom, fine people for improving their property, pass down nonsensical and contradictory edicts, and generally run amok.
Perhaps you remember this document:
When in the course of human events.....
Wel, take a long gander at this line, in the list of reasons it was necessary:
He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
Is it just me, or do I t see a swarm of officers (meaning government bureaucrats) harassing our people and eating (via wages earned by taxation) out their substance?
Washington was no fool.

Banks could have a new way of attracting customers: "Open an account with us and get a brand new .357 magnum"...beats the hell out of a toaster!
I'd have no problem with a Hooters on every corner, but I think they should have a ladies' night once a month with waiters in spandex.

Been there, done that. Some years ago, a bank somewhere out west started offering a Weatherby rifle in lieu of interest on a CD. They immediately swamped Weatherby's production capacity. Then they expanded to a whole catalog of weapons, with a CD denomination specified for each one. The bank later went under different management and I think the program was terminated, but I've since heard of other banks making similar offers.
