In a small way.

We are working against a deadline to pull this off. A legal issue needs to be resolved. More on this Monday.

Wasn't the Ed Sullivan show cancelled years ago?  He did have some circus side show acts on, IIRC.

7. How will we know you?

8. I'll let everybody know in advance

It would probably be Tuesday or Wednesday night. It involves my local union, AFSCME Local 251.

Why would Om Steve's union stand in the way of Om Steve and fame and electoral victory? I thought unions were for the common man?

I know The Ed came to Madison and didn't use union labor. Maybe that's the issue?

OS is not on the board. I think he was hoping ole Don would kick the bucket so he could take his slot.

Almost sounds like Mr. Ed's living through the 0bama years...lives with his parents well past adulthood, they buy all his food and pay his living expenses and still whines that he wants to make sure he's in the will. But, Mr. Ed is a horse...of course and that does make a difference.

Will Omaha Steve's opponents get equal time on the Mr. Ed show?  Doubtful.

Steve'll be the wide-eyed, foaming at the mouth, drooling idiot.

So no, he won't be distinguishable from anyone else on the show.

But, Steve has a beard, doesn't he? :whatever:

If he's on TV because of his union membership, it ought to be on the show COPS.

You know, damn, sir, even though I've seen maybe a dozen photographs of him, I can't remember, myself.

I think it's because when looking at my fellow Nebraskan, the first thought that always comes to mind is, "Hey, this guy looks as Polish as a Pole could possibly look."

(A reference of course to his being 1/64th or 1/128th of a long-ago oppressed minority.)
