Strange but I think for once this Mr. Moore is right.
As he stated we put the Nazis on trial, had we just killed them the world would never have known just how horrid they were. The survivors of the Death Camps would not have been able to tell the TRUE story of what was done to them.
The supporters of those killed would have spun a web of lies and the true horror they caused to be unbelievable to any civilized person. We would have been made to believed the Jews were making all this up. The story's so graphic and so inhuman would have not been told and had it been told with no proof, who would have believed them???
We had this man, this horrid man in our grasp, we assassinated him. Now his victims cannot confront him, no way to show the world what a true monster he was. So his supporters think of him as a mater to the cause.
We could have taken him anywhere in the US and placed a trial for him anywhere, not just NYC. We lost a chance to publish to the world this monsters behavior.
Were we afraid of the inside going ons of our government with his ties to country's that we send millions of dollars to, are there people in high places that in our government that benefited in some way from this beasts control????
This man did not have to be assassinated for any reason, he should have been brought back for trial, and placed as a show case for what people like them do, given a huge public hanging in front of the world.
Mr. Moore is an interesting man, this is the first time I ever agreed with him.

I wouldn't agree that he deserved a trial. I would agree that he deserved some trials. As a matter of fact I think he should have been put through all sorts of trials and tribulations. If he survived THEN give him a couple of bacon-coated bullets that were lovingly carved from the bone of a nice, large hog.
