They don't sense our urgency, do they?

I don't get the impression that Republicans are in any hurry to get people to work. Labor has never been their concern. And if a corporation goes belly-up, why would they be concerned if they can't afford to pay a campaign donation?

I just can't believe this situation is happening where the Republicans are rushing us into a Depression. It should be about jobs. The rich have had enough tax breaks to get the economy started and they have failed. It's time for drastic action. It's time to do it without them.

Oh dear.

There's urgency, but what can one do?

The (D)s control the White House, the Senate, and have a healthy majority on the Supreme Court (non-partisan, but non-primitives know what I mean).

The (R)s have the House.

In effect, the (D)s still control the federal government.

Put the blame where the blame lies.

1. There is never enough money for some people.

Life is nothing but an endless contest of conquests. Well I have a message for these greedy sons of a dog...he who dies with the most toys is just as dead as he who dies with the least.

"There is never enough money for some people"--especially the primitives riding first-class on the social security disability gravy train.

2. I really do get the impression that the rich feel that a depression is just another opportunity to make a buck.

Let's face it, the Republicans are holding out because they know that all the money the rich save will turn into campaign donations.

Which party gets more donations from the rich, than the other party?

4. Yah, many see it as a chance to get deals.

6. It's pathetic that Obama has to give them further inducements to create jobs.

Soon he'll be giving them tax credits to keep them from laying them off. And when he does, what's the difference between this and a work program?

3. Plenty of the republicans I know are pretty self centered. Many of them just want to win.

5. They Smell Power...

That's all that matters...and whatever it takes to get that power, so be it. Your job means nothing since you don't write the big checks. The GOTB, with the help of this administration's ineptitude, to put their goal of total power within reach. If it means sucking the economy dry, it's Obama who gets the blame, not them.

Oh boo-****ing-hoo.  The (D)s still control the federal government.

One of the keys to victory was to Know your Enemy.

DUmmies consistently display their utter lack of  any knowledge of their enemies. This thread is a wonderful example of the fantasy they have built.

This is why we won in 2010. The rats are unable to adapt to an electorate who is aware of what they are doing.
Even the Rat leadership seems unable to deal with the tea party.

This inability to adapt will leave but one option for the rats in 2012. They will go violent.

Several episodes of leftwing union violence already, and that seems like they are trying to scare people to prevent loss of power of the Democrats. Once it hits them that they have lost all power I'm sure its gonna escalate even further.

Mr. Mannn, this is so true, and it's their fatal flaw.  It astounds me how they get us completely wrong, consistently.  They have no idea what the Tea party is all about.  And it's really so simple.  I don't get why they don't get it.

It would mean they would have to admit that the voting public has rejected their belief system.

Yes, but to make good on that knowledge, you must also know yourself, as that great wise general also said.  And in that, the DUmmies are doomed to eternal failure.

This goes hand in hand with them NEVER understanding that Goverment cannot "create jobs" from other peoples money.
They really do represent the meaning of insanity; "Doing the same thing over, and over, and expecting a different outcome or result".

I don't get the impression that Republicans are in any hurry to get people to work.

And yet you support Dear Leader who spent the first year of his administration more concerned with passing his "healthcare" bill than focusing on the economy.  Now that the bill has become law, individuals and businesses are too scared to invest because they don't know how they're going to pay it.  Dear Leader could care less about getting people back to work, and his actions have shown it.  Get your story right, primitive.

I agree the backlash do cometh, it's just not the direction for which you had hoped.  And that's a good thing.

Get rid of Obamacare, Regulations and start talking about drilling on our own soil and shores then we'll know you're serious about jobs.

primitives don't sense any urgency...why should they? Obama is going to extend unemployment another year.
