Hey guys! Keith's TV rating has dropped to a new low. Now is the time for us
to help out by simply switching on to Current TV, even it's only for a few minutes, Mo. - Fr.
between 8 & 9 p.m., before returning to your favorite program. Democrats don't yet have a
powerful TV station. We're lucky to have any Dem. TV station at all. Let's all help to make
it into a powerful one. Now is the time when we are all needed!

1. I DVR and/or watch his show nightly....
...I don't think there's anything wrong with the show, and the fact that he has any size audience at all is remarkable given the 'handicap' of being on a relatively small and unknown network...
Hey! Asshat!
If the draw is there the network wouldn't be small and relatively unknown. What is it about market theory that eludes you dolts?

6. I think DVR-ing "counts" in the tabulation, but only if you
actually watch it after it's recorded? Something like that. I recall (obviously not too well) Ed talking about it and encouraging people to record his show.
Your life doesn't count.
Period.

12. Dish Network could be a problem
A few weeks ago, they had a big message that Current TV was moving from Channel 196 to 294 (or something like that)
However, it doesn't look like the move went through when I went to watch earlier this week.
THE CONSPIRACY REVEALED!
Most libs can't process numbers that high. That's why they're oblivious to terms such as, "trillion dollar deficit."

Stupid Neilson family! Buncha right-wing racist FOX news watching hacks!
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1943917
And now the good news:
Overall viewership was up over the prior week, but ratings have not sniffed the levels of Olbermann's debut frame, when he drew an average of 354,000 viewers and 131,000 in the demo. The numbers for last week were 208,000 overall and 85,000 in the demo.

Keef can
hoodwink swindle con er negotiate with Al Gore to make a big investment and get the channel mainstream. Gore can do it. He can do anything.

32. The Problem Is That Current TV Is Not A News Network.
It's a documentary network, so people don't watch it to get their news, like they do with MSNBC.
Current needs to be transformed into a full news network before KO can succeed.
Now I'm confused. I thought you got your news from Comedy Central, you know, the comedy network with Jon Stewart. :lmao:

Please stay the hell out of politics, DUmbasses and tell your little leaders too as well. If you can't process something as simple as a damn channel change, damn, I cannot even process that kind of stupidity.

Sniffed?

Too bad the DUmmies have no understanding of how the TV ratings system works (except for one poster).
.......if you don;t have a Nielsen meter, you won't be counted in the audience regardless of how much you watch Keef or record his show......further if you do have a meter, Nielsen samples the audience every fifteen minutes, so just turning the show on, then changing channels to what you really want to watch won't count either.
80,000 viewers (in demo) for a national show........won't generate enough advertising revenue (which is what ratings are all about) to provide electricity to run the studio for an hour.
Keef is the definition of a loser.......
Speaking of losers, I notice that Dan Rather has scored a one hour show weekly on a channel known as "HDnet", which has even fewer viewers than CurrentTV......except for the timeslots when they air "JAG" reruns........
How the mighty have fallen.........

There's the problem...between 8 and 9 pm....welfare democrats have just gotten up refreshed and are headed out on the town for another night of partying. He should be on between 4 and 6 am. when the DUmmies are getting home from the party still awake but not drunk enough yet to pass out.

Don't forget, Nielsen still sends out hard copy diaries for people to fill out. One of our TV's had Fox News on at least ten hours a day when my wife filled one out earlier this year. :-)

We don't have a meter, but in our house, one TV or another is running FNC probably pretty close to that amount of time.

Hahahaha!!!! You have 4 or 5 entire networks that spout liberal garbage 24/7. I'd agree they're no longer "powerful" as their ratings are in the crapper.

24. I believe the main objective of ALL DEMOCRATS should be to help make
Current TV into a MAJOR STATION. It is the only station that Democrats have.
If it should fizzle out, who knows when we will have another Democrat-owned
TV station AT ALL?
Let's do our best to help out WHILE THIS OPPORTUNITY IS HERE! Let's not waste
this golden opportunity!
And many thanks.
May of the DUmmies are hoping for a golden shower opportunity from their hero.

119. I wholeheartedly agree. Have the TV on...
...daily and IF YOU DON'T HAVE CURRENT TV, regularly call/email your provider and politely request it. Relentlessly.
At least until the injunction ordering you to quit harrassing them arrives.
