Seriously, we need to pass this bill ASAP.
Conservative Nabs Naming Rights to ‘American Jobs Act’ After Obama Delay
President Obama repeatedly asked members of Congress to pass the American Jobs Act last week. But when no Democrat filed Obama’s bill after he presented it to Congress, a conservative congressman swiped the name for his own legislation.
The American Jobs Act introduced in the House of Representatives looks quite different from the version President Obama outlined in his speech to Congress. Instead of hiking taxes on working Americans to pay for another stimulus, Rep. Louie Gohmert’s (R-TX) legislation offers a tax cut.
UPDATE: Gohmert’s bill now has a number. It’s HR 2911.

Presidents can introduce legislation. The Rats were waiting for Obama to give them the bill, but he never wrote it, never submitted it, and no rats is gonna write it for him.
Apparently Lord O thinks he just needs to make a speech and his minions will hop right on it. From what I'm hearing the senate rats don't like this concept one bit. They don't work for Obama.
Far as I can tell, Its been a week and NO ONE has written a bill to O's specifications.
Ya know this was supposed to be a trap for the GOP, make them vote against Jobs and use that against them in 2012. But thats kinda hard to do when there is NO bill to vote against.

Have you all seen the TV ads for the American Jobs Act (Obama's plan) yet? They have played it about 6 times on NBC between 3pm-4:15pm.

This administration has morphed this week into a total laughingstock with AttackWatch, "If you love me you'll pass this bill", and this American Jobs act ninja by the Republicans. Meltdown mode fully in effect.

Hi everyone,
I have decided to write my own jobs bill. It will be one called addition by subtraction. Basically it says fire BO and friends, all flaming liberal assholes in congress and the executive branch and replace them with business leaders who are capitalists, temporarily serving their country to fix the problem. They will basically cut taxes on the working class, incentivize work versus "free lunch", reduce stupid spending, eliminate un-needed government agencies and get the wheels of commerce rolling down the track once again.
Does not have to be hundreds of pages, I wrote it in less than 100 words.
Anyone taking bets that it would work?

Could work, but it needs to be renamed the "Barack Obama, Our Hero Forever Act" if you expect Reid to schedule a Senate vote on it.
