They started with vulnerable populations. They made it acceptable to kill retarded children in the medical setting for the good of the Fatherland.

when all the time they've been working on them for years! If the GOP ran the SS back during WW2 they would have claimed that the Jewish population wants to be separated from the rest of the Europeon population.
Hitler got many of his ideas from the American left. Today the left still wants Israel vanquished.

Nadin is just being a good liberal when she makes comparisons between Hitler and the right. Facts be damned. And lets be honest, you can have a fascist that is right or left leaning. Only idiocy says that fascism is exclusive to one political ideology. But actions speak louder than Nadin's misspelled words. It was the leftists who propogated the eugenics science of the late 1800s, post Darwin. It is the leftists who support eugenics today, starting with the ACLU all the way to the strident atheists such as Richard Dawkins (the man of science that he is).

As nadin's unofficial CC advocate I'm disappointed that she has made such a comparison. I'm a republican, yet I graciously agreed to run as their candidate as a member of their Jackass Party. My platform, though far from complete, made every effort to help the liberals. Just to show you that I was trying to be truly helpful to the left below is a portion of my platform. Just remember that this is a work in project that was never completed due to me dropping from the race.
If a liberal has a desire to leave the country every effort will be made to cut through the red tape to expedite the departure.
If a liberal who has the desire to leave the country does not have the available funds for airfare, either airfare will be provided OR if a military aircraft is going to the liberal's destination transport will be provided on said military aircraft. If a military aircraft is only passing over the liberal's destination transport on the military aircraft AND a parachute will be provided.
In the above cases the liberal MUST forfeit all current and future claims to citizenship in the United States of America.
If a liberal bitches about leaving the country but chooses not to accept the above options he/she/it will be directed to a newly formed department known as the Federal Department of Help. I haven't yet decided who will act as director of the FDH. As of now I'm leaning toward offering one of the chris_s (spelling?) that posted here the other night.
The Federal Department of Help will also be responsible for testing all new military hand-held weaponry.
Anyone receiving welfare, foodstamps, or other similar entitlement programs will be subjected to drug tests every 3 months.
Burning the American flag is allowed IF, and only if, the burner lights the flag using a wooden match that has been certified by the Federal Department of Help while wearing clothing and cotton gloves that have been soaked in and is still damp with gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.

I'm having a, uh, suspension of belief here.
nadin is a military wife, and apparently has been one for several years.
I know of no military, or former military, who's less than a principled Republican and conservative.
This isn't to say they don't exist--after all, there's exceptions to every stereotype--it's only to say that while I personally know many military and ex-military people (Nebraska's surfeited with them), I haven't found an exception in my own life.
And most certainly not in the U.S. Navy, or the cream of their crop, the U.S. Marines.
Every single one of them--and remember, there's lots and lots of them--and their spouses are Republicans, and generally conservative.
And so here's nadin, a military (or ex-military) wife, yowling like a lunatic moonbat.
She's been the beneficiary of Republican pro-military policies, as compared with the "**** the military" attitude of the other party, and surely she's not so dense as to not see this.
So my question--one can only speculate, without knowing for sure the truth, but why does one guess her husband puts up with it?

Commander or Captain of a nuclear submarine, apparently.
In other words, a guy who's got all his stuff together.

I'm thinking she must use a different name than her husband. It would be to hard to find her husband given what she has posted about herself. I doubt that his commanding officers would be pleased with many of her posts.

From what I heard on freerepublic, she uses his name, though.
I don't think he's on active duty, though; I think he's retired.
He sounds like a nice guy; one wonders why his wife treats him so shoddily.

I'm really bothered that she doesn't see that her acting the ways she does, saying the things she does, reflects upon him, probably in not good ways.
Married couples are of course free to disagree on things, but within a marriage, it's important for both sides to not make the other side look bad.
Nebraska had a congressman, and then a governor, during the 1970s into the 1980s, Charles Thone (R), generally regarded as moderately conservative, who had a moonbat for a wife, Ruth Thone.
Ruth Thone was, or is, I guess a Nebraska version of one of those Code Pink Underwear bitches, minus the rude manners and shrieking Hatred foaming from the orifices. About as moonbat for Nebraska as a moonbat can be in Nebraska.
However.
During the long political career of her husband, she was steadfastly supportive, both publicly and privately, and while she expressed some rather unusual or off-beat opinions on one thing or another, did nothing, nothing at all, that reflected poorly upon him.
She got along great with even the most-rock-hard of conservative Republicans, who knew her views, but also appreciated that she kept those views from making her husband look silly. And too, she campaigned often for other conservative Republican candidates, including of course Ronald Reagan in 1980.
At the same time, she was free to express her own opinions; nobody muzzled her.
It wasn't necessary to muzzle her; being a woman of grace and class and manners, she could walk the tightrope rather adeptly.
And it wasn't as if she was suppressed in favor of her husband; she supported him, and he in turn because of his position and profile gave her a platform and an audience which she wouldn't have otherwise had, being just a plain Jane, an anonymous Jane. It was an even trade, a perfect marriage of two distinct individuals.

What sort of work does one imagine he might be doing, in a city popular with ex-military?
And then the biggest question of all: why does he put up with a wife who persists in making herself look stupid, and by extension tarnishes him too?
