Ten years ago today....
Bush was in Crawford vacationing while intelligence sitting ON HIS DESK stated that there was an IMMINENT threat to this country.
Just saying...if he had paid a little attention to the warnings from Clinton's advisors regarding this, then tomorrow would be just another day.

2. And Rumsfeld made a statement about how the Pentagon was gonna have to account for over 2 TRILLION dollars. Who woulda thunk it?

Just how was Bush supposed to stop them?
In fact every measure taken from that day forward was met with nothing but howling and whining from you goons on the left.
In fact even now you bitch and moan about airport security measures that are basically the fault of the left. It's because of you assholes that we can't focus on the people you refer to as "brown people" when they try to board planes. Then when someone does slip by and gets stopped, not by any govt agency, but a fellow passenger, people in this administration crow about how the system works when it failed miserably. I would rather Bush in charge any day of the week than the clowns we have in office now.

Of course, Ms. Ed has most conveniently forgotten about the Magic One always being on vacation when tornadoes strike, when the economy crashes, when floods ravage the plains, &c., &c., &c.
And those vacations are a damned sight longer than seven minutes.
I could never figure out why "seven minutes" was such a big deal.
Was George Bush in a split-second supposed to suddenly get all hot and excited in reaction to the news?
Seven minutes is a good reaction time, in times of crises. One shouldn't lose one's head.
**** the primitives.

Ten years ago, the Great Bush Prosperity was dawning.
DUmp democrats hate to reflect on that because, amazingly, so many of them failed to profit from it.
That's just a reminder that in order to have winners in life, you have to have losers.
DUmp democrats have filled that role for generations.
Thanks, DUmmies!

The seven minutes was such a big deal because they hate Bush. Nothing he could have done that day would have been satisfactory to the goons. If he had excused himself and left right away, they would have said that he was scared and ran off.

The bolded is the reason, plain and simple. The DUmors, DUmmies, DUmb****s, whatever one refers to those wastes of sperm as, have Hate and Hate alone to sustain them.

I've seen a couple of pieces from the children he was reading to. It seems all who have talked said they were grateful he didn't bustle out. They knew why he did it and they were and let's face it aren't that far from being children. They knew he kept reading so they would not be worried. Just like any good father or parent would do. I would think his behavior was not advised by those charged to protect him too, but he did it anyway. I don't like everything Bush did in office, but there is little doubt he was a good and decent human being with a lot of character.

Well, for the last three days the MSM has been reporting that there is an IMMINENT threat to this country.[/color] from 3 Islamist that have slipped into the U.S.. ...and where does Obama plan to spend 9/11? In the air....Everywhere, anywhere but Washington D.C..
ETA: A moving target is harder to hit.
