I know this is too early to speculate. What if Obama loses in 2012, could he try to run in the 2016 Election? I know Grover Cleveland lost in the 1888 election by the electoral college despite winning the popular vote to Benjamin Harrison and won again in 1892 election.

Let's hope that him and Holder aren't out of prison by then.

If one has been sent to prison, doesn't that end ones political career forever?
-
Ayup. Once a citizen has become a convicted felon and served time in prison that citizen may no longer vote. That citizen may also not run for publ- oh wait...
-
It depends who is standing next in line. I think many rank and file Democrats would have voted for Gore again, as crazy as he is, but Kerry was in line and behind him was Hillary who got upstarted.

i got a shiver down my spine reading those names consecutively in a sentence.

I hope he does run again. By then, the truth will be out. At least to a larger majority of voters.
But he will probably be too busy making million dollar speaking engagements, to help boost the moral of our mortal 'enemas' by then.
Him, the Poodle, the Clintoons, Jimma and Soros will merrily be trotting anywhere across the globe that will help in the united effort to bring this country to its knees (if the moneys right).

I wouldn't worry about it. The number of people who get a shiver up their leg when reading those names consecutively in a sentence is diminishing rapidly.

Billary looks like she was rode hard and hung up wet. She's an ugly hag now, not that she ever was good looking.

If Lord O loses I doubt he will run again. Carter lost by a landslide, he knew better than to run again.
Even if the race is close...Democrats eat their own. He'll never run again.
More than likely he will find a safe haven and hide there, praying he won't be prosecuted.
My concern about a loss is, will there be race riots?
-
He'll never run. He'll be too busy telling the few true Kool-Aid drinkers left how horrible America is.
At $250K a pop on the rubber chicken circuit, of course.

Simple answer...YES!

Simple answer...YES!
I agree.

I agree.
They were dancing in the street and causing problems in the schools after he was elected. Likewise, I see trouble ahead when he's thrown out on his ass.

Add me to that list of those expecting violence.

Andrew Sullivan: I Fear a Civil War if These Christianists Beat Obama, or Something! (http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2011/09/13/andrew_sullivan_i_fear_a_civil_war_if_these_christianists_beat_obama,_or_something!)
>>> Be careful what you wish for, wingnuts -- an Obama loss in 2012 could trigger a neo Civil War. Scary, right? We'll tackle this conclusion in a moment, but first, Sully sets the table with some (now familiar) anti-religious sociological psychobabble:
...The GOP, deep down, is behaving as a religious movement, not as a political party, and a radical religious movement at that. >>>
Bullies ... thugs always threaten dire circumstances if they lose ...
think of the N. Koreans or Chavez or Saddam Hussein ... same mentality.

Me, too.

Not necessarily:
Edward M. McIntyre (1940–2004) became the first African American mayor of Augusta, Georgia, in 1981. He had previously served as a county commissioner for Richmond County. He is notable for a U.S. federal conviction for extortion in 1984 (he was mayor at the time). He later received a pardon and ran again for mayor of Augusta, narrowly losing the 2002 race

That fool STILL received about 45% of the vote.

I'm thinking "NO" on the race riot thing. I'm quite certain the "Obama Demographic" is going to get the message loud and clear whitey ain't gonna be in any mood to be ****ed with.

I think they will destroy their own hoods like they always do.

That's a given.

...and the new president and congress can say, "They are no government funds to rebuild with...you broke it, you fix it."
And immediately thereafter the president issues an EO saying that irregardless of state and local laws, every law abiding citizen has the right to carry a weapon. They have the unalienable right to use deadly force to protect life, liberty, personal safety and private property.

Race riots, flash mobs, different excuses but same results. At least the stupid ****ers tend to destroy their own neighborhoods, although there's usually innocent victims to be found wherever there's a band of thugs. But yeah, Detroit, Chicago, New York, and other Democrat run hellholes will be afire and it will be racist white America's fault. ::)

I agree with everything you said. We shouldn't have any problems around here, but it could get close to us.

When he loses, I don't see him holding public office again or even running. As much fun as he's had playing president these last three years, he'll be much happier banking off the various perks of being an ex-president without all the scrutiny and criticism. I doubt he'll fade from the public like Bush, but he'll have no pressure to produce anything.
-
I agree.
I would bet no. I mean, if there's gonna be riots, they're gonna be started by the same people who voted in 2008 for the first time in their lives because the guy is black. You really think they've invested enough in this guy that they care if he loses 4 years later to the point they riot? At least, that's my take. Not saying there won't be anything, just nothing on a large scale.
