Set my sat box timer for *gasp* PMSNBC...........
Things I'm looking for are the provocative questions by the "panel". They'll probably even try to debate the GOP lineup. But I'd also like to see a cat fight between Madcow and Bachmann. That would be fun!

the debate is going to be on msnbc?
anyone know what channel number that is on directtv?

356. Sadly I know way too many Directv channels, even that one.

thanx. i'll set my dvr and just watch fox news analysis of it. if anything gets controversial, i'll go and watch the actual footage.
-
Glad I cancelled my cable.
-
Hearing Romney on social security, I can now say I cannot stand the son of a bitch. He sounds just like a liberal.

GOP debate tonight and Fox is interviewing John McLame. WTF?

Yes, they could still pick someone other than the loser from the last election to interview.

I only caught the last part where they are talking about the Iraq drawdown which is relevant and current.

At least the reasonable Brian Williams was a moderator. :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:  :argh:

"Brian Williams" and "reasonable" belong together only because his moonbat meds keep him just slightly less unhinged than Madcow or Shultz. At least on camera, anyway.

Brian Williams is a leftist asswipe.

Brian Williams is a leftist asswipe.
You got that right.

I was once again really impressed with Newts performance. I know he has a lot of baggage that will prevent him from getting the nomination, but I like the fact that he is so passionate and articulate, and that he raises issues, such as media bias, that would otherwise be ignored.

So, that's not a tan or TV makeup, huh?

Mmmmmmmmm, I think not!

Yeah, Newt was actually takin' it to 'em last night...wish the others had taken more of a cue from him and said they were there to talk about THEIR positions, not mock those of the other debaters. Romney did sound the most rational and well-thought-out on the purely economic issues. I like Perry on the death penalty thing, I would have preferred for him to quote Ron White on it though: "If you kill somebody in Texas, we'll kill you back."

Brian Williams is a leftist asswipe.
He is a former intern for Jimmy Carter.
Some 'credentials' there ... /s
Why do republicans always agree for some leftist to 'moderate' them?
-
I dont like Gingrich for Pres but he did have some great things to say.
Great smackdown of the leftist media and moderator here ...

Do they have a choice, or are those "moderators" selected by the hosting MSM networks?

i wish everyone would start railing on media bias. by not doing so, you let them do it.

You are exactly correct. I don't understand why the 'Pubs don't get into it with the media liars.

i hope its not because they do not fully understand the extent of the situation.

Prob the 2 biggest applause lines came when Perry told Williams how if you murder in Texas ... you will be executed. If you kill in Texas, you will be killed. The audience loved it. Much to the apparent surprise of Williams who very rarely gets out of the liberal bubble that he's used to living in. And the other when Gingrich set the record straight with the moderators trying to get republican debaters to trash one another as I posted above.

I have liked Ron White's statement since I first heard him say it!!!! :rotf:

Williams wanted to embarrass Perry with a question on the Texas death penalty. Perry should have asked Williams about abortion.........

Perry should have replied with something like:
Well Brian, you got me there buddy. YOUR party has all the police and child murderer votes because of our (or my) policy.
Congratulations.

Romney was cautious, but good; Bachmann underrated.
-
I know Bachmann is qualified to be president, but I just have this strange instinctive feeling that she's being set up to be VP material.

I wouldnt be surprised. Too bad its not the other way around though ...
Good 'ol America and her citizens will once again have to take a back seat ... to 'politics' as usual.

I think Romney has spent some considerable time working on his delivery -- I am seeing some really nice money quotes come out of his campaign.
Comparing Romney to Perry in job creation however is a ridiculous endeavor, Perry should stay away from that. Perry has a nice Republican majority to work with, Romney was in liberal super-super-majority hell.
The only valid comparison of the two is that they both have gaping holes in the decision making department that they need to own and account for.
