At the same time, other DUmbasses are explaining how useless a college degree is.

5. As long as we have the Congrss we have...
there will ALWAYS be a plan that can be refused unless it's their plan. Which we all know won't do a damn thing for average Americans.
DUmmy These Eyes is a new DUmbass, but already breathtakingly stupid:

15. Reality check...
High unemployment among African Americans did not start with Obama and won't end with him either. Institutionalized racism is the reason that the unemployment rates for blacks is more than double that of whites.
Applicants are easily weeded out by 'ethnic-sounding' names, schools attended, and place of residence. Black women are able to find employment easier than black men-- they're seen as less of a threat. And yet, they are paid less than their white female counterparts. If discrimination could be erased by the stroke of a pen, unemployment rates would be equal across the board.
I have a question: Outside of athletics and entertainment, has there ever been a successful person with an apostrophe in their first name?

10. I think I heard that the unemployment rate for African American men is
23%, and I saw it on tv, but I don't remember if it was CBS or MSNBC.
Plus another 10% or so in the slammer.
Another mind-bogglingly DUmb post:

14. Black unemployment is a national shame.
I do have one question though. Could some of it be location?
Wow, that's really interesting. They live in blue hellholes like Detroit, and Chicago, and Oakland, where unemployment is astronomical.
If they all moved to the expensive white suburbs, unemployment would virtually disappear!

So I as going to start a list of possible reasons for such a high number of unemployed, but I didn't want the DUmmies to call me a racist.

I believe there may have been a dictator in some third world shithole or other with an apostrophe used in their first name. I think.

If a man shows up to an interview in a t-shirt and jeans so baggy you can see his underwear, why hire him?
If that man cannot speak English even though its his native language, why hire him?
Some people just eliminate themselves from the job pool.
If black America doesn't want this fate, go to school, learn to speak and write. Show up to interviews in clothes that fit: slacks, a nice shirt and a tie. When you get a job, show up on time, and work! You will be amazed at how these numbers can change...and you won't even need Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
If you waste your life with a hand stretched out waiting for a handout that will never come, then you deserve your fate. Life is not what someone gives you, but what you make of it. Life is hard work, and doing things you don't want to do. You have a pair of hands, get a job, save your money, and make your life the way you want it to be. No one will do it for you. one last thing: stop the whining.
Thank you.

Hey, DUmbasses, black unemployment is your fault. You endorse policies that separate black families by making the fathers unnecessary, you fight against vouchers to get blacks out of failing schools, you discourage blacks from fending for themselves by savaging those blacks who decide that they don't need to be led by race-baiters.

I run across the ugliest-sounding names all the time. I sort of ask myself if their mothers hated them that much.
You can tell the real African names from these silly names that are given to babies born here. It has nothing to do with ethnicity.

My observations:well spoken and beha:ed(read civilized like fellow working people) seeem to do very well in every place i have ever worked. Imagine that: employers don't want someone who behaves like they are the poster child for bait car or could be the scary indivdual that that contributes to the title scared straight. In my view most black men grow up as they do bacye they live in a very indulgent and corrupted matriarchal society where the females basically view them as seed for thier meal tickets. I don't think i would feel like a useful memeber oof my community either if the sole expectation of me was to seed every brood mare in the community, drink a brew, and act as obnoxious as possible in order to dndear the only female company i have any hopes of being with to my bed. The black community need not look any further then thier own backyards to understand why thier ethnic geoup specifically is hwere it is...continue living down to stereotypes and they no longer are stereotypes buut realistice expectaions.

Black unemployment has a whole Hell of a lot more to do with urban Black culture than it does with institutionalized racism, dipshits. Of course it would be culturally insensitive and intolerant for any of you to ever face up to that fact, so you will no doubt continue to blame the bystanders instead of the perps or look clinically at the actions of the victims, so you will instead continue to pursue 'remedies' that are either wildly ineffectual wastes of time and money, or actually make the problem worse.

Believe it or not, Bucks, there is something to that. Why is it that blacks in urban areas such as Detroit, Oakland, New York, etc., have such astronomical unemployment whereas in other areas (cough flyover country cough) they do not?

I once told a black fellow that I couldn't use and he wanted to know why not. I told him because he only had one arm. He got mad, said he had 2 good arms. I told him, "Yeah, but you're using one of them to hold up your pants." The very last one to ask for a job I told, "You don't have enough hands." Same response as the other, "I got 2 good hands." I told him, "Maybe. But you came in here using one to hold upyour pants and the other one hold a cell phone."
Over the course of 30 years of self employment, I had both extremes of black people work for me. Most were of the worst extreme and the couple of good ones I had, I tried to help into something better than I had to offer.

Well what you have said JR leads to the disconnect of the AA community. Those young men probably left and said you were a racist keeping them down. Democrats have also fostered an attitude where blacks are not accountable for themselves, their behavior, or how they present themselves. Because of this, what you said probably did not stick in any way in their minds. This problem because of this is overall cultural but it's two pronged: policies and attitudes that have created a culture of entitlement and total lack of accountability in the black community coupled with the fatherless, criminal culture that blacks seem to perpetuate in their own communities. It's a shame. The black men(and women) I've know who apply themselves and understand there are rules to behavior to be successful in the larger community not only do very well financially, but usually are strong, decent pillars active in their communities whether it is a suburb or a better part of the hood. This propensity to community involvement would make them such a dynamic ethnic group if they could get their proverbial act together.
