After this coming election, I think that whatever is in store for us
by our corporate masters will certainly be in place and we won't have to wonder where this country is headed anymore. I just read where Obama is considering indentured servitude as his plan to "fix" unemployment. That took the rest of the wind out of my sails.
Right now, it feels like we are getting tag-teamed by republicans with a reciprocal Obama reacharound.
I kept hoping that SOMEONE would step forward to stop this madness....but it doesn't look like they will...which tells me that it is too late in the game.
We are truly ****ed.

Someone who's inspected thousands of dicks in her Texas single-wide should be an expert on that, so I'll take her word for it. But enough political stuff.
How about an update on that slutty daughter? Or the move from the single-wide into an abandoned farmhouse? It's really inconsiderate to start those storylines, and then just drop them. It's as bad as the Russian in the Pine Barrens episode.

1. Stop the insanity is right
But even here, so many are blinded by bullshit and a pleasing smile.
We are truly ****ed, and have been so for some time now.
Well, DUmmy upinumbers, I guess you didn't vote for the messiah?

3. Here's what's in store for America's middle class.
Continued currency debasement that will turn their salaries into poverty level wages.
That is how the wealthy fascists are going to turn this country into a third world fascist regime.

9. I supposedly have one of the "good jobs"
but...a friend of mine is an RN at a major Dallas hospital, who less than 10 years ago, had no less than 40-50 openings a month come up.
Another friend, who is an RN, lost her job due to cutbacks. She asked the first friend if this major hospital had any GOOD jobs open. Friend replied by saying that there had been a hiring freeze for the last few months. When people left, positions weren't being refilled.
Now...are we to assume that a major transplant/trauma center in Dallas, TX all of the sudden doesn't need employees?
Or is it because more people are uninsured, more people are underinsured, or the hospital knows that they have their employees FEARFUL of losing their jobs and that makes a more compliant workforce?
I don't know the answer, but I find it quite frightening for my profession.
There isn't a hospital within 150 miles of where I live that is hiring RN's. That simply terrifies me.
Lots of jobs 10 years ago. Hmm. Who was in office back then?
DUmmy Horse with no Brain knows there will always be a market for dick inspectors. It's been called the world's oldest profession.

4. Yep. No need to worry even now. The Fix is In....
and we are wholly, deeply and truly screwed.
You aren't only merely screwed, you're really most sincerely screwed.

5. During the darkest times in the Bu$h years I always had the hope that if the Dems
returned to power, we'd get back on track and begin to move in a positive direction.
Careful, DUmmy. Better men than you have been tombstoned for mentioning the Great Bush Prosperity.

8. Wages haven't been so low since 1955, profits not so high since 1950
I read this morning. No wonder you're thinking about Ike.
I wonder poor, stupid Beth's source for that information. Maybe the Old Farmers' Almanac.

6. I'm watching how things unfold between now and Jan 1, 2012. He will either deliver on his speech...
...or not. After all, he allegedly needs no interaction with Congress in order to enact his changes.
I'm guessing...not.

or should we all jump off the bridge now?

11. Forget the bridge, Frenchie, but start thinking "barricades..."
Sorry, DUmmy villager, DUmp democrats are way too lazy to build barricades.

I just did a quick search, I found quite a few nursing jobs in Dallas on my first hit.

You stupid equine amnesiac, did your "corporate masters" develop the computer or mobile device you're posting to the DUmp on? Do you relish eating mud? Chasing flies off your food? Just what the hell is wrong with you people? Where's your gratitude?
I'm grateful for you stupid gits. Because of you, I can see how lucky I really am and how great my life actually is. But with you lot its whine whine whine, bash bash bash. Not the slightest bit of gratitude for anything in life. Not even the ability to whine and bash the people who provide you with the ability to whine and bash to your ungrateful friends in seconds. As soon as you have a complaint, you can just trot on over to the DUmp and express your ingratitude, and have 50 more ingrates "rec" you.
Pathetic.
Oh, and thank you.

I want to hear more about this "indentured servitude" business.

I think that probably relates to her qualifier of "GOOD" jobs, which in her case would probably mean 20 hours a week telecommuting, $65K a year, full benefits, and not having to see patients.

Sort of a work for unemployment/welfare deal.
Obama may float that next week.
DUmmies are all adither over that, as you can see.
-
Done right, that could be a good thing.
Of course, we're talking about a government program-- let alone an Obama program-- so we know right from the start it will absolutely not be done right.

Definitely.
It's gotten to where I wouldn't trust the Magic One to wind up the clocks here right.

So the DUmbasses got what they wanted and found out they don't like what they got. No Skittle Shitting Unicorn for you.
The great man who saved democracy in the twentieth century said it best.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
Winston Churchill
I would add death as commie big governments tend to kill tens of millions of their own citizens and millions of other citizens.

DUmmies got the ferry dust. :-)
The misty spray, as the boat pulls away from the island, carrying those that refused to drink the Koolaid.

Thats what I was thinking BEG. Nursing is a hot profession nationwide... especially RN's. MY sister went back to school 3 years ago and got her RN and had a job before she even graduated. Now she makes really good money. Works in the ER and her night/holiday shift pay jacks her up to about 60 bucks an hour and we ain't even talking about OT yet. Where she lives the average salary is about $35,000 a year. Not bad if you ask me.

Got a hunch, that the amnesiac eohippus meant to say LPN. (truth is a hard mistress)
Real live RN's can damn near go any place and find a job.
My daughter just did that.
LPN's and many of the other groups in that field are having a hard time right now.
I take issue with that stupid nameless horse, lying.
DUmmies lie, always, DUmmies lie.
-
RN's are sought highly here too.
they are starting to use LPN's to do some RN type work.

No doubt about that, what so ever.
Thousands of good LPN's out there, that can do the job.

Villager, doing his best impression of a 21st century Les Miserables. Unfortunately for the villager primitive, there are no paving stones for him to pull up to form a barricade. So much cannon fodder, so little time. :rotf:

She has always tried to give the impression she is an RN without directly saying so, which is a dead giveaway that she isn't one.

An RN does not live in a single-wide in a dusty, crappy Texas trailer park.
An RN's profession requires a level of intelligence far beyond that of a DUmbass like Horse with no Brain.
It is not possible that DUmmy Horse with no Brain is a registered nurse.

Plus there was the allegation the unappellated eohippus made a couple of years ago, about how 25% of her gross income went towards paying her share of medical insurance. She said it was $500 a month, which is 25% of $2,000 income per month.
Twenty-four thousand a year is what a keyboardist in a hospital or medical clinic or abortion factory would make, considerably less than what even a part-time temporary registered nurse would make in any place.
