Are Rush Limbaugh listeners capable of independent thought?
The question is put sarcastically, but is asked seriously: do his listeners form their own political opinions and positions or do they simply follow his lead? Obviously none of us can know the answer to this, but how do you see it?
Look in the mirror asswipe.

We've been asking the same question about liberals for years now, and the answer is still "No."
.

Brilliant!
I'm sending this to Thom, Rachel, Cenk and Keith!
-
How original. Nobody has ever accused Rush listeners of being sheep before. Kudos, Stinky, you're only 10 years behind the 8-ball.
-
stinky the DUde is a true genius. WOW, just f*cking amazing the brain power on that one.
-
I'd be willing to bet Stinky the Used Colostomy Bag has never had a conversation with a Rush listener.

Stinkdude uses the bag to huff paint.

I am waiting for my e-mail from Rush before I respond.

This from a moran[sic] who voted for Hope and Change.

Don't forget Malloy, Schultz, Maher, and the editorial staff over at the NY Times, Washington Post, and news editors at CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC.
Ever listen to them some nights? Their newscasts, pundits, and other shows quote each other nearly word for word, right off the fax they got from the DNC that morning.
-
Look Stinky just because you goons need Rachel and Keef to tell you what to think, does not mean that we need Rush to tell us what to think.
I listen to Rush to hear someone who agrees with what I believe in at least most of the time, I also listen to him to hear things that the media may be quiet on. If it wasn't for Rush, Hannity, etc I probably would have never heard 0bama say there were 57 states, now if Bush had said that, even the cartoon channel would have reported on it, but the media was quiet when he made that mistake.

Umm, I was a Republican before Rush went on the air and I listen to him because he agrees with me.

I dunno.
I never heard of Rush Limbaugh until I bought a book of his.
For obvious reasons, franksolich says "not guilty" to any stupid notion that Rush Limbaugh tells him how to think, because franksolich couldn't hear Rush even with a 10,000-watt amplifier.
Kiss my ass, dude.

I think it was his 1st book, he mentioned there was a men's health club and women wanted to join, so they set up a room for the women, when they walked in they found a room full of irons and ironing boards. :lmao:

LOL, I saw this thread earlier and all I thought was "well, it's Vinnie and he IS slow" but then Nadin had to go weigh in and manage to make a bad thread worse somehow:

23. I listen to the show from time to time
and no, they are not. Unless you are aware of how PSY OPS works... it is easy to fall prey to it. And he has gotten that much more sophisticated over the years. Only reason, IMHO, that Glenny was taken off the air... is that he is too brash... but he communicates the same message actually;
::)

33. Because I am looking for cues to propaganda techniques
I am doing this far more as an academic exercise.
Here is how it's changed over the years.
REPETITION. It used to be the exact same words, over and over again back in the 1980s. These days he can give you the same message over a fifteen minute time slot... in five different ways. Linguistically that is a feat all on it's own.
He also modulates his voice far more. HIs "my friends" shtick is at a lower pitch (where glenny failed miserably, and boort is actually better) than it used to be. It is almost a congenial tone. as if you were talking to a real friend.
What is scary is that of all these shit stirrers... the best is actually O'Reilly.
She is such a pompous ass.

O'Reilly is not a conservative.

29. Funny you mention that. I have had identical experiences.
They look at you sort of slack jawed and then start nodding in agreement. They even repeat your words back as if they're actually undergoing a bout of comprehension . . . . and then they're right back to Rushbo the next day.
These people are cave dwellers.
Ciao, Vinnie The Dude.
Sei debole tentativo non inganna nessuno.
Roba su per il culo.

Dude, seriously? I listen to neither Rush nor Hannity. Matter of fact, the only time I've ever had an opportunity to listen to talk radio is if I'm driving to work on back shift. Hannity is on too late for me, I have this little thing called a JOB which requires me to be alert and rested and I have to be up most mornings just after 5, sometimes earlier.

It's in the script. It's easy... all you have to do is read the script and know the script.

The DUmmies are up at that hour too, they are hitting the bong for the last time before they go to bed.

I thought you already know how, you pretty much know everything else in the world.

Well, just take a look at the number of threads you idiots devote to worshiping Keef or Thom or Rachel or any of their ilk. Now look at us, or any other conservative site for that matter. How many threads here do you see singing paens to some talking head? We might occasionally quote or bring up some topic covered on one of their shows or in one of their articles, but you don't see us flitting around like a fairy, yelling, "Oooo, send it to Ann! Send it to Ann!" or "Check in here if you're listening to Glen!!!111" like a bunch of vapor-locked teenyboppers at a Justin Bieber concert.
*gush**gush*isn't he just dreamy*gush*
That isn't us, that's you assholes, licking your heroes' toes and hanging on their every syllable.
-
The propaganda expert, started her own thread on this.

The feed of el Rushbo that Eddie showed
that is a PEFECT example of how he has evolved with repetition, the lie and pushing the propaganda.
In five minutes, or less... he repeated the same message about thirty times... in about ten different ways.
This is TEXTBOOK EXAMPLE of the propaganda techniques they use.
SO find it online and watch it. Study it... this is how you push the big lie.

That's because they're playing you. They know a slack jawed look and nodding is the type of thing the left does when one of their cult leaders is giving them their talking points. As an extra bonus, they repeat words back to you, just like we watch you do all the time on Skin's island with your Dem leaders, husb2. And they do fully understand... that you're an idiot.
husb2 is still mad that I and others here have pointed how how much more intelligent we are than he can ever hope to be. Burns him up to no end to have us remind him. Tough.

I guess we need to add Psy Ops master to Nadin's resume.

Study it! That's hilarious! Nutcase nadin is talking to her little band of sycophants (she will google that word). They don't "study".
They have to re-read the instructions every time they open a new box of Pop Tarts.

Over at Skin's island and reading the topics in GD just now. We hardly ever mention Limbaugh or Hannity or any number of other conservative media types when we discuss the issues here at CC. The primitives consistently have a minimum of a dozen threads going about what MadCow, or Keef, or Hartmann, or Shultz, or O'Donnell told them to believe. Seems the primitives are the one's having trouble with independent thought seeing as so many of their threads are based upon nodding in agreement and patting the backs of their talking heads.

That is true. I think the only ones I've mentioned are the gorgeous Megyn Kelly and her stunningly unattractive new hairstyle, and Fox's little gayboy Shep, who seems to be auditioning for the algore network.
