Al Gore compares climate change skeptics to racists
Source: RawReplay
By Andrew Jones
Al Gore continued his criticism of climate change skeptics in an interview with Climate Reality Project collaborator Alex Bogusky on UStream, going as far as to compare them to the racists of the 20th century.
“There came a time when racist comments would come up in the course of the conversation and in years past they were just natural,†Gore said. “Then there came a time when people would say, ‘Hey, man why do you talk that way, I mean that is wrong. I don’t go for that so don’t talk that way around me. I just don’t believe that.’ That happened in millions of conversations and slowly the conversation was won. We have to win the conversation on climate.â€
When asked by Bogusky about Rick Perry’s recent comments against climate change, Gore focused on not just the Texas governor, but the entire anti-science movement.
“This is an organized effort to attack the reputation of the scientific community as a whole, to attack their integrity, and to slander them with the lie that they are making up the science in order to make money,†Gore said.
“These scientists don’t make a lot of money. They’re comfortable as they should be, but they don’t make a lot of money. It’s not in their nature to get ready to constantly defend themselves against political attacks. That’s not want they expected to be doing in their lives.â€

Ol' Algore should know what a racist is, seeing that his father was a big one.

Gravy train drying up in the face of facts and reality Al?

Not just his father if the rumors are true. I heard that when algore was VP he insisted that no black Secret Service agents guard his wife or daughters. And Cynthia McKinney has said that he has a "low negro tolerance level".

AlGore is a real piece of work. Check out the real Al.

It is woth the click.

Just like the Kootch and other democrats, Algore was also strongly opposed to legalized abortion until the democrat party went crazy.
Of course, since the party went crazy, Judeo-Christian morality has become a disqualification, and abortion has become a sacrament.

Algore Sr. certainly didn't have a monopoly on systematic racism in the democrat party, pretty much the entire crew, a who's-who of the democrat party is mentioned here~
This one is a must read for everyone

Wow! Thanks for the link. I always knew he was as shady as a walnut grove but man, that's a big read I'm going to have to find time for tomorrow. Looks to be a two microwave popcorn bag read at least. "Admitted pot smoker, during his stint in Vietnam and later"... That really rubs me the wrong way for two reasons. First that serving a tour of duty for one's country is not a "stint", it is an honor and a privilege. Secondly this man was ostensibly an officer and a gentleman, that's how it's supposed to go. It is NOT supposed to be "an officer and a gentleman who enjoys the occasional spleef".

When current observational science indicates your models are based on assumptions that are total garbage, who is the person ignoring 'Science?'
-
A guy who just plunked down $9 million for a beachfront home and whose father voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act drops this line of crap?
Oh Al, you just don't know when to quit, do you?

Thus speaketh the man who has turned down every challenge to debate.
I wonder if he knows History will despise him as one of the greatest con men ever to live.

Algore has made more money off his global warming scam than his daddy ever made from contractor kickbacks. And his daddy made millions.

There's a reason they are helical and that has nothing to do with fluorescent technology. It's all about the screwing and rumor has it that Algore is in cahoots with Trojan sharing their new tingly warming recipe so no lube is required by the consumer. Just bend over and you won't feel anything but planetary harmony, like that old Coke commercial from the 70's.

Yeah, but he was expecting to make a lot more than he has, and to be hailed as a savior of the world to boot. I gotta believe that's probably the main reason he's coming apart at the seems to this point. Tipper took her portion of the cash and ran. Good for her.

algore is resorting to the typical liberal tactic when losing an argument. Call your opponent a racist and hope it causes them to back off.
The word racist has lost it's meaning because of how it is over-used by the left anytime they feel their argument has lost traction.

Everywhere he goes they have bad weather...so now he race-it around the world trying to beat it there.

Pat and Stu on Beck's radio show do a hilarious imitation of Al Gore.
Lurkers, does it ever make you suspicious just how filthy rich Al Gore became off of his scam? Do you feel duped? You should.
Interesting, I rowed over and Induranceville is giving them what-for. That DUmmie at least put down the Koolaid.

Hey, look on the bright side of Al Gore's "carbon credits" scam....They can burn those carbon credits this winter to stay warm.

Doubtful, they'll probably be electronic.

So, they're self-perpetuating, because one needs to buy more carbon credits to pay for the electricity generated by those . . .

Exactly. The Renewable Rain Forest Credits will be on paper, though. More like bearer bonds.
-
The whole rain forest carbon credit thing is truly a scam, in the pyramid scheme sense of things. Carbon is neither created nor destroyed, it is only tied up in non-gaseous molecules by having more trees. It depends on people stupidly believing trees never die and the supply of them can be infinitely expanded, neither of which is true. Eventually trees DO die, in 30-100 years for most species, and when they do, they generate just as much gaseous carbon as they tied up while they were alive...nor is the Earth's forest area particularly expandable, just hanging on to whatever there already is can be a challenge.

I'm still looking for that hilarious clip. But, Pat's take on Al's ridiculous racist statement today is pretty funny, too. http://www.therightscoop.com/hilarious-glenn-beck-show-rips-al-gore-over-civil-rights-comments/

Like every single other issue that liberals champion, when someone throws legitimate criticism their way - criticism that sinks their cause, or cannot be addressed - the default position is that of calling the other side "racists". This is a staple of liberal stratagem. Merriam-Webster needs to formally amend a couple of definitions due to this change in English language usage:
racist - n. 1. Any person who disagrees with a liberal. 2. See BIGOT Example: Sally said rent ceilings create shortages, she must be a racist.
bigot - n. 1. Any person who disagrees with a liberal. 2. See RACIST Example: Fred said that the science behind anthropogenic global warming wasn't settled, he must be a bigot.

Does anyone remember the quote form Earth in the Lurch where Algore says the something like media should lie about Global Warming(TM) and not give voice to the other side of the debate?
I've tried to nadin it but either I don't remember enough of the quote or I don't have enough hats.
