Frenchie will have to post more than this:

[Just got a Call from the Obama Campaign
Edited on Fri Aug-26-11 11:03 PM by FrenchieCat
asking me if for a Donation.

Asked the caller if he had reached any members of the Angry suicide Brigade today,
and had they given him a piece of their mind about their opinion on Pres. Obama's
reelection chances during his calling session? He laughed and said there were a couple.

I thanked him for his hard work, and reassured him that i wouldn't be giving him a bad time, as it takes a lot of strength and sheer tenacity to make cold call and ask for money at this time, considering the economy.

I told him that I loved this country (I'm an immigrant), and that I believe that Pres. Obama, although constantly judged harshly by many, will have a great 2nd term as President. He said...hey, you are as determined as I am to make sure he's re-elected. I told him that if Bill Clinton and Bush Jr. could be re-elected to 2nd terms, I'm not sure why this President wouldn't be. That wouldn't even make any reasonable sense! He mentioned the Republican funding machines made unlimited by the Citizen United court ruling and Karl Rove's Crossroad group and said...well, its not going to be easy, I'll tell you that.

I told him that I had children, and because of them, I would be volunteering later on this year.
I said that I wanted to show them that the only way to make any changes to your life to better it,
is to do get out there and get her done, if you are able bodied.

I told him that I had gotten a 2% fixed interest rate on my loan modification and had nearly $90,000 taken off our principal loan amount; that one of my daughters had bought a house last year and had gotten back an $8,000 first time home buyer check. Also that as an accountant I generate payroll checks, and see clearly that people are keeping more of their money, and that I was looking forward to free contraceptives next year, for me and my 21 year old. I mentioned my brother, whose son suffered stage 3-4 cancer at the age of 18 months old and had been uninsurable for the past 7 years (he was treated thru St. Jude), who is now covered, and I had just visited with him on Tuesday.

These changes may not be much to some, but to us, they did personally matter.

I told the guy that certainly I expected more from this President, but that I would have to do what I could to make sure he is given that opportunity, and hopefully, we'll have a more progressive congress next time around, cause that Tea party craziness that we are seeing now has got to go.

I then proceeded to provide my credit card information so that I could donate on a 13 month payment plan.

I did it gladly (although, I'm relatively broke), because I have principles that dictates that I should do all that I can to make sure that the future is better than the present (and the 8 years of past before 2008) for myself, those I love, perfect strangers, and of course, for as many children as possible. Oh, yeah...and I selfishly think that it would also be better for the rest of the world. Call me crazy if you must, but that's just me!

4. My donation has to be earned

And that has not yet happened.

I suppose I'll end up at least making a token donation, but anything more has to be earned.

Try to avoid using the word "token" when referring to anything regarding President Obama.

But feel free to use that word and many worse ones for any black repuke.  :mental:

Shorter FrenchieCat bouncy:  The Obama campaign called today.  I told them I would crawl through broken glass to be Obama's Monica Lewinsky.

I read somewhere awhile back that at that time Obama already had something like $750,000,000 in campaign funds for the next election. ...but if he can milk the DUmmies for more and then waste it on a lost cause, more power to him. It'll be the only boost to the economy that he's made.

Uh huh, but this being a public board, I can't really illuminate.

 :rotf:

It goes along too smoothly, as if greased or oiled or lubricated.

In real life, such things have jolts and starts and stops and quirks.

This is just a PR thing she's doing, nothing more than that.  Please notice how she hits on all of the talking points, in logical sequential order.

It's made up.

For all of the good St. Jude does, I have a sore spot against them.

Three years ago, all of the top USPSA/IDPA/ICORE revolver shooters in the US converged in Memphis for a charity match, with the proceeds going to St Jude's.

Two years ago, they didn't want our money because it came from a shooting match.

LeBohneur Childrens Hospital is glad to accept it.

Wow, she ought to be getting an updated version of the inflatable Obama Blow Me Doll for that!  If she doesn't then she's prostituted herself for free.

This is more or less exactly what I was thinking... before seeing your post, I was going to write 'I would post a picture to reflect my opinions on the kitty frencher, and her physical love of all things Obama, but It would certainly be against the rules as it would be pornographic'

Remember for about the first six months of the Barackalypse, DU Adbot had a particular advertisement for a bronze bust of the Magic One.  From mid-section on up, and 4' tall.  Cost, in the low four figures.

I'll bet FrenchieCat has one of those.

Interesting.  But far be it from us to ask any questions that would compromise a mole, or a confidence.  You're a deep guy, Frank.

Well, then, screw St. Jude's. I'm surprised they'd take that tack, located as they are in Memphis.

The young democrats of Shelby County, none of whom are in a position to afford their personal health care, shoot one another at a fierce rate. If marksmanship were promoted more effectively, the losses incurred by Memphis emergency rooms could be greatly reduced.

I worked for years at St. Jude in their fundraising division.  Marlo Thomas is married to Phil Donahue, and I think he influenced her thinking IMO.  Phil's views, I know for a fact, influenced some decades long donors.  Sad truly, as their research and treatment of childhood cancer is unmatched.

Yeah, President Obama isn't a token. He's an affirmative action hire. Or, simply call him Johnny Bravo.

indeed --

Looking at Obama's past, one realizes the proper word is tokin' -- Its also the proper word to use when one considers the majority of Obama's supporters.

The frog feline primitive has "principles that dictates that I should do all that I can to make sure that the future is better than the present for myself, those I love, perfect strangers, and of course, for as many children as possible," and wants 10% unemployment (around 17% real unemployment), $4.00 gas, and higher food prices for everyone.  Wow! Thanks a lot,....... idiot.

The only reason Catherine got a call is because her husband preaches to a large black congregation of the same slime as Sharpton, Jackson and Wright.
