Title: Stinky The Clown sends it's love
Post by: beefeater on August 24, 2011, 04:55:46 PM
This only lasted about 30 seconds, no link. One of my moles was going to post an Atta Boy Stink, but when it hit post the topic was missing.

It's about the dude's elm tree that had to be cut down.

I dunno what Vinnie's problem is; trees like all living things must die anyway, sooner or later.

One suspects Vinnie doesn't get upset about infants dying in the womb, though.

Saying things on the internet he wouldn't dare say to our face.  What a tough guy.  :whatever:

I say the tree waited long enough but finally gave up wanting to live in the yard of such an idiot and a hatemonger.

Okay, I just went out to the garage, to ask the bug-eyed property caretaker something.

He makes beer money cutting up storm-downed trees on this property for firewood.

So.....I asked him, "how many trees do you suppose we lost this summer so far?"

Some of these trees were more than 100 years old, and of all varieties from oak to elm to cedar.

He figures "about sixty."

Trees are wonderful things, but death happens.

When Vinnie gets upset about the on-purpose deaths of infants in the womb, I'll sympathize with him on his loss of a tree.

Vinnie's signed up here, sir; been here a long time.

He's been clicking on, tapping on, banging on, a particular link in "Mrs. Alfred Packer does Labor Day," part of the chapter where the defrocked warped primitive seduces franksolich; my attempt at writing pornography.

Vinnie really wants to read that story, and is pounding on the link, to get in to it.

But the deal is, one has to have posted some comments, to get there, and Vinnie hasn't ever said a damned thing here.

Which is okay, it doesn't break any rules, but on the other hand it means one misses out on some stuff, if one doesn't post.

You know, that's remarkable how fast that was deleted; like, within a couple of seconds.

My fellow alum Skins must be personally manning the control-panel for Skins's island this evening; I can't imagine any moderator over there catching it that quickly.

Just wait until one of their ******* pets die. They sit shiva for a fortnight. Makes me want to set saucers of antifreeze outside their front doors.

I swear, if there was a 50% chance that a pregnant woman would give birth to a baby or a dog, liberals would ban abortion within a week.

I didn't take pleasure in the pain of his dead elm tree.  I felt nothing.  I take pleasure in their political pain.  As for their personal pain caused by themselves, I wait for them to learn the simple lesson of consequences.  Something the rest of us learned the first time we touched that stove.

You know, the deal is, Vinnie's not a young man.

In fact, he's almost as old as the ThomWV primitive, the mountain man primitive who like all men nightly pitches his tent one day's march nearer the mausoleum.

Vinnie has a lot of good memories associated with that tree.

Old men think of things that will no longer be.  The tree's gone.

So I can understand his sense of Loss.

But at the same time I'm not going to sympathize with that sense of Loss, because Vinnie's been rather selfish, rather selective, rather spotty, in his concern for others with their own losses.

For example, all the years I've watched and enjoyed Vinnie on Skins's island, I've never once heard him mourn the loss of life for those murdered in the womb.  During the War for the Liberation of Iraq, I never once heard him mourn the loss of life for those murdered by the genocidal tyrant Saddam Hussein.

And there's such a thing as "lost opportunities," too.  I've never once heard Vinnie mourn the loss his being, his insight, his companionship, his tax-dollars, would contribute to the inner-city youth of Baltimore, if he'd live there instead of in the third-wealthiest county in America.

Vinnie's been rather selective in his concern for the losses of others.

Actually some of their financial pain posts are pretty damned entertaining.  It's like watching Larry, Moe, and Curly try to run a bank.

One of the most enjoyable things about their physical, psychological, or financial pain is that magical moment when they realize it's
entirely the fault of George W. Bush. I just love it when that happens.

Yeah, this mis-directed anger thing, when a primitive's really angry at one thing, but since it's uncool to be angry at that thing, directs its anger towards a wholly innocent third party.

That was one of the prevalent characteristics of the Bostonian Drunkard during the Bush administration; one could always tell when he was having a fight with the paternal ancestor, because that's when the boryborygmous loser went on some of his most-strident anti-Bush jihads.

The primitives do that a lot, mis-directing their anger.

The love of a sad clown who is exiled to the cat box room by a wife ambiguously involved with a neighbor lady in preference to him...

This has all the makings of a very boring three-hour-long French art film.

I had given thought, as a replacement for my Packer series, which is winding down, of doing pieces on the sparkling husband dude's daily life.  But then I dismissed the idea.

Such pieces would be mostly about the goings-on between the sparkling husband dude's wife and Mrs. Tutweiler, the horsey neighbor down the street, and I got nothing against the sparkling husband dude's wife.

By the way, sir, that's NOT a black mark or anything on your record, the modification I made; the presumption is that you simply didn't know.  Your record's squeaky clean, pure as driven snow.....in fact, it's blank.

Anyway, it's preferred that personal messages between members not be quoted in any forum on conservativecave, and if there's some compelling reason one must, the name of the sender has to be omitted.

Exchanges between two members where personal messages are quoted, in case there's a complaint, the identification of both can be shared with moderators and administrators, but not out in public.

Most message boards have this rule; but at any rate, it's no mark against you.

Now, one cannot fault members for being suspicious if one's a long-time member who's never posted before, which is your case.

Not posting is NO violation of any rules here, but it does lead to suspicion and skepticism.

We have lots and lots of long-time members with still only two digits' worth of comments, who prefer more to read here, than to say something.  But they've established credibility by making at least a few comments.

It can look strange, being a registered member who never says anything.  Why bother to register then, when one can just as well lurk?

This being the internet, where everybody's anonymous, one can claim to be anybody--I can claim to be Clare Boothe Luce, and who can possibly disprove it?--and so it's best to build up a reputation, a credibility, by making comments, even if only a few.

You are correct I did not know the rules, I apologize. I just wanted to point out that I am not Stinky The Clown.

Nothing to apologize for; it's considered an innocent mistake, no big deal.

But surely you must, sir, understand that a long time member who never says anything, not even a single time, attracts suspicion, in your case using a screen-name hinting of the Italianate, while a certain primitive dude of Italianate derivation, not known for any particular deep intelligence, has been boasting over there about how he has a mole here.

But if I were Vinnie--and I'm referring to him, not to you--and if it were known I was of Italianate derivation, I'd use a screen-name suggestive of the Gaelic or Norwegian instead, but again, this certain primitive dude of Italianate derivation isn't known for any streak of genius or creativity.

The mix-up, in which you've received some measured hostility, is wholly my responsibility, and I bear it willingly, 100% of it, and so if I've been wrong, members here copying my own sentiments, then I apologize.

Well, Vincent wouldn't be the clown then, unless it's a proxy which I HIGHLY doubt.

As you know, sir, I know little about tracking ISP (internet service provider) numbers, and it's no fun anyway.

I just as soon prefer to figure things out with other sorts of clues.

Which means sometimes I'm wrong.

But it doesn't especially bother me, as long as I'm right 50% + 1 of the time, which I guess I am; right more often than wrong.

Whenever I see "dynamic" (as opposed to "static") in an ISP number, I've hit a brick wall and just go on to something else.

But you forget, sir, that's exactly my own modus operendi on Skins's island that's served my mole so well all these years.  A few comments here and there, but mostly for collection of anthropological data through personal messages.

Of course, it helped that my mole, when it was given to me, already had 1,000+ posts on Skins's island, instant credibility among the primitives.

Of course, it is sort of a contradiction, because the primitive dude isn't as smart as franksolich, nor as self-disciplined in keeping his yapper shut.

Well, okay, it appears I misunderstand what a "dynamic" ISP number is.

I'd thought it was totally irrelevant, the way I understood what it is, and so disregarded it, going on to look for other sorts of clues.

But apparently it's something other than what I thought it is, and hence relevant.
