not about being a good samaritan, but how far we now believe we need to protect corporations... oh and I don't think the insurance will cover it. so if wally mart wants a good end, they will pick up the cost.

14. Two points on this
1.- Walmart has it's own very good security. It includes silly shit like cameras, so catching the perv is easy. Turn the tape over to the city police, for example...
2.- Nobody is excusing stealing but it is amazing how far people will go to protect corporations who are ALSO INSURED for these losses.

I worked at Walmart and saw customers stealing. I didn't stop them because I didn't care.
Hey DUmmy lurkers, I didn't have to cherry pick this one. EVERY single response (except for the low post-count dude) was defending shoplifting.

Didn't we pinpoint at some time, exactly where Lucian works?

Excellent memory, Karin!

Last week the DUmmies were defending the "flash mob" looters. Every week they show support of pedophiles, so let's face it, they support criminals over law abiding decent people almost every single time.
-
I don't know if I would ruin my pickup truck to stop a shoplifter but I would like to be reimbursed for a shotgun shell or two.

That is interesting. At the end of April, he was working at the WalMart in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, and
now he says "I worked at WalMart". The store's address and phone number were listed here, along with
his posts about allowing shoplifting while on the job. It looks like he may have been wallduded!
Walldude, cali, Raven, and now DUmmy Lucian. Truly a lineup of DUmp all-stars.

Hey nadin, it's "perp", not "perv", you idiot.

They welcome both on the Island.

The 60 year old woman/man at the door?
-
I think Nadin is confusing Wal-mart with Wally World with Walt Disney's real world theme parks, which have very good security.
-
What the hell is wrong with these people? Seriously...should it matter where a person is stealing? The person who would steal from Walmart would also steal from them...without a second thought. And they deserve it. What happens when this same person decides to steal from some mom and pop stores? Do they honestly think people like this are going to distinguish between a small business and a chain store?

If it weren't for liberalism, I would never have found out about the exceptions to the Ten Commandments...
Thou shalt not murder... Except if life is just too inconvenient.
Thou shalt not steal... Except if it's from a billion dollar corporation.
Thou shalt not bear false witness... Except to advance a political agenda.
Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house. Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.... Unless your neighbor is filthy rich.

the primitive used fox news as a source. Not one comment about that from the heard. And I guess all of those intellectual elites would have no problem with their dinner guests walking out of the house with some of their stuff right?

The mustang rammed the van twice, so there will be coverage for that damage. This has nothing to do with protecting corporations, and everything to do with doing what is right.

Hardest part of this is --"Who is watching the Watchers"
As part of my education into the real world I came across some interesting people, 2 males that worked at a Target Store in Tenn.
Friends of a friend of mine, and I admit it, I was just learning about how things actually work. These store Employees working as security were the worse thieves that store ever had. Quite the set up, for their friends they would --take orders-- on stuff, get it out of the store and charge the buyer just 25% of the value.
Darn I believe it is the inside jobs that cost the most to a company, sure shoplifters add a huge amount to their loss but nothing can come close to employee theft.
Doc, there is an old saying in my neck of the woods--------All ways count the spoons before the guests leave ESPECIALLY at family affairs.
-
Groesbeck, Texas had one of the only Wal-Mart stores to ever completely just shut down and leave town - because of employee and community theft. Large welfare recipient population there.

You know I've been to Disney World many times and their security is very good with one exception. I carry a pocket knife with me at all times (one reason I refuse to fly) and I've been stopped going into the park(s) on a couple of occasions because they could see the clip of my knife on the outside of my pocket. They didn't take it they just asked me to put it down into my pocket so you couldn't see the clip.
My question is; Why? They know I have the knife and they don't mind but they don't want anyone to see the pocket clip?
