Just a reminder.
Today marks the beginning of the fourth quarter, or somewhere in between the 7th and 8th innings, for the top DUmmies of 2011; only 90 more days to go before nominations start.
For those who don't know, from Thanksgiving Eve until New Year's Day is the funnest, the gayest, the happiest, the merriest, the jolliest, time of the year here in the DUmpster--that period from when nominations for the top DUmmie of the year begin, and then end circa six weeks later with announcement of the winner.
So now that the fourth quarter's underway, I urge those with favorite primitives to publicize and boost those favorites, so that they get recognized in the nominations and voting, as the clock's beginning to slowly wind down.
I suppose most decent and civilized people, and primitives, have already resigned themselves to nadin being the top winner this year, but not so fast--
I know this only from history books, but I wish I'd been there to see the most memorable game, ever, in college football, the Harvard-Yale match-up of 1968.
If memory serves me correctly, there was 1:28 left to go in the fourth quarter, to the end of the game.
Yale was leading Harvard 28-14.
Harvard won that game, 31-28.
So for the non-nadin fans, get that Harvard spirit; anything can happen.
Among other things, Chapter 12 of "Mrs. Alfred Packer does Labor Day," where hippyhubby Wild Bill meets franksolich face-to-face, will be the last of the Packer Chronicles. Ever since hippywife went away, there's been no more literary inspiration.
One wonders why Mrs. Alfred Packer went away--or was eaten by Wild Bill--I have no idea why, but she's gone. +RIP hippywife.
In a new literary experiment, sometime in September there will begin "the private diaries of nadin"; quick 45-second (45 seconds to read) pieces from the primitive nadinbrezenski's diary.

They need to watch what franksolich does, starting later today (although very slowly); that'll light a fire under them, burn their asses, perhaps enough to catapult one of them past nadin.

I definitely think that Sarah Ibarruri needs to have a respectable placing, if only for her threads about being dumped by (sorry, dumping) her libertarian boy-friend. Describing what a charming, compassionate, loving man he is and seguing into pure bile and hatred to the extent that other DUmmies openly said she was being abusive to him.

I definitely think that Sarah Ibarruri needs to have a respectable placing, if only for her threads about being dumped by (sorry, dumping) her libertarian boy-friend. Describing what a charming, compassionate, loving man he is and seguing into pure bile and hatred to the extent that other DUmmies openly said she was being abusive to him.
Oh! I actually forgot about her, she does have the potential to squeeze into the #1 slot.

I am too in a way. However, her constant rendering of "expert" opinions on every subject under the sun has become downright comical as of late.

I'm sick of Nadin, too. I've always found her to be a crashing bore. Since one of my criteria is entertainment value of the DOTY, I'm not going to even have her on my nomination list. It kinda bugs me when all the Nadin threads get stickied, as if they were of utmost importance or something.
I've got the Harvard spirit, too, Frank. But whoever's stickying, seems to have an agenda. DIEBOLD!!!111!!! :-)

I'm aware, madam, it does give the appearance of favoritism.
But the criteria for "stickying" involves hotness, and nadin threads are always hot, popular.

I'm disturbed at the thought of associating know-it-all nadin with Yale University, one of the bulwarks of education in the civilized world.
It's a little inappropriate to compare one of the world's foremost repositories of knowledge and research with an pretentious, condescending ass, whose "wisdom" is based entirely on the use of an internet search engine, and then often misunderstanding its product.
Yale gave us George W. Bush, and coach's fellow alum Skimmer, both of whom can speak on various subjects without urgent appeals to the google.
A better winning-darkhorse analogy might be Kim Kardashian, utterly unknown before her hardcore pornographic video with a black boyfriend went viral.
Or Al Sharpton, just one among hundreds of race-hustling wannabe extortionist "reverends", until he fabricated his Tawana Brawley scam.
Kim Kardashian and Al Sharpton, though both are much smarter, are more appropriate for comparison with nutcase nadin.

It's possible, Goonads will walldud herself in the next few weeks.
Remember a few short months ago, she swam off the island and found a tree to perch in.
After a couple weeks, she grew weary of being the only responder to her own tripe, and swam back.
Currently, her iggy list must be as long as the list of her expertice of world knowledge.
Thus, we don't see her detractors.
I don't think Gonads will last to the finish.
She's sprinting too hard in the middle of the race, and won't last.
