While people make fun of the quake... (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1800537)

Can't find yet photos of real damage
The Pentagon has had a few problems with pipes failing
The mayor of Mineral VA reports her walks are cracked and extensive physical damage.
Go laugh it up... but there IS damage... as in REAL DAMAGE.
A little sensitivity will go a long way.
~ Image of no damage not included ~
She posted a freaking picture of something with no damage, hoping that there would be. :mental:
And a few bottles of shampoo or something fell of a shelf. :ohnoes:

8. That's the rub: if it DID, we'd have HEARD about it.
But evidently it DIDN'T, so what is the point?

I have a feeling that if the DUmp used bitchslaps and made the amounts public, Nadin would have an astronomic amount.

13. Not surprised at all
According to some I never wore the hats I have worn over my lifetime. And they have to do the calls on top of assessing damage.
They will have a spike of those for anywhere from 12-24 hours
All hail the expert of everything! Nadin!! She has worn many hats in her lifetime, dontcha know? Respect her authoriti!!!!!

23. Santa Anna scrammed safely and has no outside power
Thankfully the road is not that damaged so if they need to truck diesel in to the generators...
But keep your eye on that one...I was getting flashbacks
I know. It hasn't been that long since you saved the world from the Japanese incident.

It's just a lucky thing for mankind that those shampoo bottles were plastic.
Otherwise we'd be talking broken glass. One of those "survivors envy the dead" deals.
Nutcase nadin loves those apocalyptic apocalypses, apocalyptically speaking, and she discovers one about every two weeks or so.

SANTA ANNA???? ****ing seriously?
First off, the city in California is spelled SANTA ANA, not SANTA ANNA.
Second, the nuclear power plant in question is NORTH ANNA, not SANTA ANNA. They lost offsite power and MANUALLY SHUT DOWN; i.e., no scram, no tsunami, diesels up and running just fine, offsite power restored reasonably quickly, but declared an alert. Several other plants declared an unusual event. OMFG...
Please, for the sake of all that is good and holy, STFU and go have a glass of milk or something.

The bitch crazy.

The CVS stock boys are going to have to work a lot of overtime to clean up the health & beauty section tonight.
-
The only hat Nadin has ever worn is a tin foil hat, and it is permanently attached to her head.

Sparky, I wonder if Nadainthebrain could give the definition of SCRAM.
Santa Anna. Bwahahahahaha! What's the Tertiary heat sink nearby, Nadinsky?

I've been in plenty of earthquakes when I lived in CA...don't believe I've ever had a flashback. Still, it's a good thing she's an expert on road damage. Those diesel trucks probably check her threads before they leave for delivery.

Civil engineer and/or earthquake damage assessor gets added to the overly long but no where near finished expertise list.

I wonder how long it's gonna take FEMA to get into poor, quake ravaged DC and help all those victims to $2,000 debit cards, FEMA trailers and generous handouts for the next 2-1/2 years from the ObamaStash(TM).
Oh, the HUMANITY!!!!

No bet. Liberalism may not show up in the American Psychiatric Association's diagnosis matrix, but it really is a widespread, debilitating mental disorder.

It's called the "sexually frustrated woman of Judaic derivation" syndrome.
