Look....none of these schmucks from the other side have a shot at winning the Presidency.
There seems to have been a whole shitload of handwringing on DU (well...there always is) about the Obama presidency and whether or not he will secure a second term.

NONE of the current crop of Republican candidates have a ****ing PRAYER in being elected to the office they seek. Certainly not honestly, anyway.

The only way either Perry or Bachmann or Romney can win is if the rational side of the electorate stays home next November.

Perry will soon be perceived as a nutcase, just as Bachmann is quickly becoming. Americans will NOT elect a Mormon as President, so Romney is screwed from the get-go, not to mention his "Corporations are people" statement will turn out to be his "Maccaca moment".

While I agree with much of what Ron Paul has to say, he, like Dennis Kucinich before him, has and will continue to be marginalized by the media because he says things that are TRUE and well....we just can't have that in American politics.

We are going to get another 4 years of Obama, and I for one am glad. The best things from a Democratic Presidency always seem to come in the second term.

So, this DUmp wise man likes the Kootch and Dr. Nutz?

6. Considering that two complete doofuses,
Ronald Reagan and Junior, were each able to get 8 full years in the White House, I would never rule out any Republican nominee's chances.

Two great presidents who freed the world from Communism, killed mountains of muzzies, and gave the entire world a period of the greatest prosperity in the history of mankind, the echoes of which we're still enjoying today.

Let's pray for a third doofus.

13. Art,you make a good point, but this is a new century....
and I just don't see the same thing happening.

Too much social media that didn't exist back then to counteract the TV.
I could be wrong. I admit.
Yeah, Twitter will give the Kenyan another term.

12. These types of post are highly dangerous.
While we spend time here debating if this high profile group of individuals has a prayer a beating Obama, Karl Rove, Frank Luntz, the Koch brothers are working their grand strategy on just exactly how they will do it.

With this unusual set of circumstances, the economy, unemployment, destroyed home values and 401k's people do not give a **** what party says what. They want the problem fixed, they don't care the just want it fixed.

Anyone who believes they are smart enough to see what the GOP strategy is, is truly a fool. We all should have the understanding, when the GOP is backed into a corner, they find a way to change the game.

Hints Citizens United. We all must realize that this is going to a lot worse. The GOP will win in 2012 if we don't get our arrogant minds out of the clouds and back into rebuilding our Grassroots efforts.

This DUmbass thinks their "Grassroots efforts" can offset Lord Rove and our allies at Diebold?

20. Of course they do
It is entirely possible.

IMO you make the mistake of thinking like a normal, rational person.

The other side does not see their candidates for who they are. The media (and blowhards like Rush) do not present them in a manner what would EVER let the voters really see their candidates. So, they choose between spokesmodels and vote with patriotic fervor. They truly believe that they are protecting the future by voting Republican.

So...only the DUmbasses yammering and stammering in Skimmer's monkeyhouse, flapping their arms and snapping at one another, are perceptive enough to discern the true nature of the candidates? Somehow, that doesn't seem likely.

Well, I suppose the country could possibly survive another four years of Obama...but only if there were 66+ GOP Senators and a strong GOP majority in the House.  The Supreme Court would likely be on the wrong side of everything for a generation afterward, though.
