Title: Now Know-It-All nadin Mangles Latin - More 'Splainin' Gone Awry
Post by: GOBUCKS on August 22, 2011, 10:47:45 AM
Know-it-all nadin decides to lecture her little band of DUmbasses on Latin terms used in legal matters. Bad idea. We already knew she had no grasp on English, now she proves her ignorance of Latin:

De Jure and De Facto
We have recognized the rebel government, since we waited until now this is a DE FACTO recognition, aka facts on ground.

Countries that recognized earlier it was a De Jure. It is mostly meaningless unless you like this trivia... which I do.

Ignoring nutcase nadin's use of the DUmp's customary Random Capitalization, she reveals no more understanding of de jure and de facto than of nuclear plant operation. Of course, when she nadined these terms, she found that de facto means fact on the ground, in reality, in actuality. She apparently stopped there and failed to nadin de jure. Any official, legal act of government, including official recognition of a new government, is done, by definition, de jure. If we assist, negotiate with, support, and ally ourselves with a rebel government without official recognition, that could be called de facto recognition. It doesn't matter when it happens. An official act of government is de jure.

I don't speak mexican, but it would be interesting to know if she mangles that language as badly as English, and, now, Latin.
I suspect someone as blindly ignorant in her condescension as nutcase nadin probably does.

2. Hadn't they been treated as the legitimate governing authority since last month...
... as part of the agreement of the Libya Contact Group which the United States is a member?

What happened today is more like a formal individual recognition by the U.S. Government, but I don't really think it changes much of anything.
You are right, DUmmy Makenumber! If we formally recognize a government of Libyan rebels, that makes it de jure. Up until now, as we helped them in every way, without a formal declaration, it was de facto.

That crazy lady who makes all these condescending posts, treating you DUmbasses like the idiots you truly are, will never understand the distinction.

3. No it does not, it is just trivia
the difference matters only to a few of us who pay attention to those things.

Right, nutcase, the difference only matters to a few of us who understand those terms. That obviously doesn't include you.
I think your brain may be a victim of parenteral poisoning.
Oh, Cisco! Oh, Pancho!

Although, of course, she is the DUmp's self-admitted greatest expert on nuclear plant operation...

It's the condescension towards others that I really love, especially when the person on the receiving end gets it right without resorting to inaccurate use of Latin terminology.

It's tempting to register a mole to point it out...but would be banned and for little real effect...but she certainly needs a proper bitch-slapping.

One cannot argue with a brain dead moron as this nadainthebrain. You cannot hook up 480 to 120VAC without lots of xfmr. We truly are different, so different

(shudder)...which is one more reason I'm glad for drug testing.  It keeps her out of the PA at San Onofre.

Dear Nadin,

PA = Protected Area.  That's what we call the area "inside the fence" at a nuke plant.  Just because you're on company property doesn't necessarily mean you're in the PA, thank God.  And NO, the visitor center doesn't count.

While you're at it, nadin, Google the phrase, "ignorantia legis neminem excusat."  It certainly has applications with you.

If she was even 0.001% as smart as she thinks she is - she'd be dangerous.
