Title: DUmmies Discuss High Finance (Omaha Steve)
Post by: GOBUCKS on August 21, 2011, 12:13:17 AM
DUmmy Omaha Steve, the enormous nutcase who travels the country, coast to coast, collecting autographs from F-list celebrities no one has ever heard of, while trying to scam his way onto disability:

During the month of Aug I have lost $4,000 in just ONE retirement account

I hope those Teabaggers that cheered the downgrade have a much bigger portfolio than mine.

This is one of those Pam Dawsonesque posts, where the entire purpose is to let the DUmp know how wealthy he is.
Four freaking thousand simoleans in a single account?!? The man must light his cigars with C-notes!

Seriously, DUmbass Steve could have a hell of a lot more if he didn't piss  it away on autographs from "Unnamed German Sergeant" from some obscure 1966 "Combat" episode. Now he desperately needs that disability gravy train, unless the political  career takes off and sends him to Pennsylvania Avenue.

DUmmy elleng is nearly as affluent as DUmmy Steve:

1. Not good, but there's a decent chance some of it will return.
I lost about $3000 initially, some replaced, some lost again; markets move.

DUmmy Warpy, still all sweaty from reading about her pornographic encounter with coach, looks at her investments,
and counts figures on both sides of the decimal point:

4. I lost well into six figures of paper "worth"
but my income from it has not gone down.

I suspect I'll lose a lot more. Sic transit glorious money.

And no, I'm not upset. I'm not planning on using my net worth to leverage as much in debt in order to mimic the lifestyles of, if not the rich, the executive class.

The cheerleader teabaggers have nothing but pensions, a little savings in CDs (if they haven't put it all in the Goldline scam) and social security checks.

8. We lost about $60,000 in 2007-2008
early on as things were on the way down. We took the remainder out of the stock market and have most of it in cash now. We probably could have earned some of that back if we hadn't gotten nervous, but the peace of mind is worth something.

Well, DUmmy, those of us who stayed in have recouped all of our losses, plus some. Is that "peace of mind" worth $60K to you?

10. Ummmm......
I've lost far more than that liquidating savings because I don't have a ****ing job and can't find one. Anybody who has a job that pays a living wage is in far better position. Pain depends on point of view.

DUmmy Coyote_Bandit has pissed away to his weed dealer all the money he set aside during the Great Bush Prosperity. Every DUmmy on this thread is whining about losing wealth that was accumulated during the business climate fostered by the Chimperor.
Hard to imagine what fine bud the DUmmies could afford today if Dubya were still in charge. Two cars in every garage, two doobies in every stash.

Just another DUmbass losing his Bush money:

14. I was laid off my job in 2010.
Fortunately, I was collecting social security. But my 401K and IRA were both losing money. So I cashed both in and put the money in a savings account. It is not earning too much interest, but at least the monthly statements do not show a loss.

My husband lost a lot more than that a little after Obama was elected in 2008.  So..... thanks DUmmies.

Hey DUmmies! No one was cheering for a downgrade.  We all lose money when that happens.  Except for those of you with a stockpile of Cheetos.

Being dumb is bad enough but childlike thinking is even worse. If they didn't have Republicans or the Tea Party to blame for Obambi's problems and their own bad decisions they would have to invent them.

Coach, I realize that this primitive is a fellow Nebraskan, but he's a special kind of stupid . . . stoopid, actually . . . to think that "teabaggers" actually cheered a downgrade.  S&P couldn't have telegraphed their intentions any better unless they hired the stars to align themselves to spell out, "S&P will downgrade the USA unless $4 trillion is cut from the defecit."  Matter of fact, they said not too long ago that they will further downgrade the USA in November, unless changes are made.  Moody's is probably going to follow the S&P's lead in October.

And this puts a huge crimp in my wife's and my dream of home ownership.  Rising school taxes and now this.  I'm pissed--but at the Dems, because they spend money worse than Idi Amin's government ever did.

But I never said my fellow Nebraskan wasn't stupid; in fact, I've castigated him plenty in the past, for making all we other Nebraskan look stupid too.

To me, Omaha Steve is like an embarrassing relative one would like to shove up into the attic, but at the same time since he's one of mine, one is compelled to tolerate him, as an act of Christian compassion.

I suspect the seductive defrocked warped primitive is stretching.

No way in Hell.  If it were true, and even if the seductress disdains the affluent life-style, she'd still insist on living at least a step or two above a single-wide in an isolated desert town in New Mexico.

Whatever amount of money it is, I bet most, if not all, of it came from her paternal ancestor (who also bequeathed her his looks), and possibly, since Massachusetts is an "employee-friendly" commonwealth, even though she did wrong by stealing from a narcotics-cabinet, the hospital probably had to pay her off to fire her.

Coach, I think that Omaha Steve is a special kind of stupid found only in Manhattan (NY) and in San Francisco.  As for tolerating him . . . by that example, then, I should tolerate Chuck Schumer and Anthony Weiner.  Not just "no," but "no ****ing way."

4k is nothing compared to what my oldest brother lost while working for Qwest. He lost well over 140K due to the CEO's mismanaging the company and it's one of the reasons it's no longer Qwest its now called something else.

There may be a handful of primitives who have some money -- emphasis on may -- but the warped primitive isn't one of them.  But if it were the case, in order for the primitives to remain consistent they need to point out to the warped primitive how they attained their "six figure" wealth through lying, cheating, and stealing it off the backs of the working class as, we have been inform from Skin's island over the years, that is the only way that type of wealth is ever obtained.

I'm telling you, if DUmmy Warpy has "six figures", she's counting the numbers on both sides of the decimal point.
Warpy is a druggie, and very few of them ever accumulate any money.

That figure makes me suspicious, because even if the seductress were as much a "minimalist" as she alleges herself to be, she'd be living a tad bit better than she says she does--in at least a double-wide in a more-respectable trailer court, or a modest little bungalow in town.

Maybe you should've invited him to the annual picnic with the hippy squatters so he could meet the other moonbats.

What is this idiot talking about?  Nobody cheered; I felt very depressed, thinking, "there goes the country, right to hell."

When the stockmarket started its recent implosion, there were distinct cheering threads at the DUmp.  You know it, lurkers.

Memo to Steve...how the hell do you have ANY money left if you've been out of work since January? And for the record, I "lost" about $10k in one DAY after your beloved heroic Obumbles downgrade ****up. However I'm not going to whine and moan. I lost a shitload in 2000 when the tech bubble burst and the CA power crisis was in full swing. I lost another bundle in 2008 when your beloved Rats tanked the economy. Yet I am still making money. How, you ask? Figure it out.

Oh, and one last point. How is it that a bunch of people who supposedly HATE corporations invest in those evil corporations with the hope they GROW and when they do, allow you to purchase more bong loads and Cheetos for your old age rather than depend on "Obama Money"?

Your hypocrisy abounds, DUmmies.
