Title: **Friends of Grovelbot -- A question..**
Post by: miskie on August 20, 2011, 05:10:45 PM
DUers like to talk about their massive user base frequently--

SO... Here is a question for you to meditate on..

Why does it take a week for approximately .75% .57% of your users to donate ?

There are a few different ways to answer that question, and sadly for you, none of them are good. Have a nice day, primitives.

Edit -- added corrected, up to date number.

For the lurking primitive who don't think there's much of a difference between a billion and a trillion, other than the first letter of the two words, .75% is three-quarters of 1%, not three-quarters.

I just thought this needed pointed out, given the mathematical ineptitude of the primitives.

Actually, I just did a quick peek and it seems their userbase is now just under 175 thousand, not the 150 thousand they always brag about -- so what is that, .66% or so ?

This was bothering me, so I got out a calculator ---  as of this moment, it takes a week for .57% of DU to donate, not .75% as originally posted.

So -- meditate on that up to date number instead primitives.

I don't like leaving errors hanging, if I can correct a mistake, I will.
