IMO, most Republican politicians and voters aren’t all that intelligent. But so what?
Their leaders have far more street smarts than we have. They are totally focused on their goals. Their fanaticism is absolute. They have absolutely no qualms about using any and all means to crush us. And all of that puts us at a tremendous disadvantage.
Whether the issue is religion, elections, wealth distribution, race, immigration, medical care, or just simple human decency, they always manage to crush us, crush our agenda, and crush everything we believe in and stand for.
All this reminds me of the old saying, “If you’re so smart, why aren’t you rich?” The reality is that being smart and being rich are mutually exclusive. Being intelligent, and succeeding in ramming through a political agenda, are also mutually exclusive. And that means that really stupid people can triumph.
Lots of responce, nobody even disagrees with the premise and nobody sees the irony.
Frankly I couldn't bring just 1 or 2 answers over, they're all so good.

When I was trolling Skin's island back in 2004, this was the exact question I asked that finally got me targeted to be TS'd.
A little info for you, Cyrano: I'm more intelligent than you or any primitive on Skin's island. The world hasn't create a device that can measure how much more superior intellectually I am than you and the other primitives.
You are unable to put 2 and 2 together, so let me help you out: You're not smart at all, and conservatives are extremely intelligent. We win because we are smarter. As it stands, you're not intelligent enough to understand how much smarter we are than you, and we don't have the time, nor do we even care to try, to convince you otherwise. In fact, it's to our advantage for you to continue to falsely believe you're smarter than us. So keep on believing what you want to believe regardless of the evidence right in front of you. It plays right into our hands.

IF someone you think is DUmber than you, and whipping your ass intellectually, THEN maybe, just maybe, THEY are either not as DUmb as you think, or YOU are a complete DUmmie.

Wouldn't smart people figure out how they were being defeated and alter tactics?
Wouldn't smart people have seen November 2010 coming and figured out a way to triumph?
Wouldn't smart people seek to understand their enemies? (Primitives clearly have NO idea what we believe in)
Wouldn't smart people avoid drugs and live in places OTHER than mom's basement?
If the DUmmies are smart...then we will rule forever.

Um, no. Bill Gates is a very intelligent person. Ditto Tom Clancy, Warren Buffett, Mark Zuckerberg, and Larry Page. There are some rich people who I wouldn't consider overly bright. But they all have one common theme: THEY WORK THEIR ASSES OFF. With the possible exception of the Walton family, few of the Forbes 400 walked into their money, and even in the case of the Waltons they only STAY rich because they invest wisely; i.e., no blowing their fortunes on bong loads and Cheetos.
By your logic, Sir Schnozz, you just called Obama unintelligent, given the agenda he and the Democrats have rammed through in the past 2 1/2 years. They've certainly ACTED stupidly, but I won't go so far as to call them stupid.
And now that you've made yourself into a fool, isn't it time you went to Disneyland or something?
