Chat Subject:Other
Your Question: Hey, are you in America? Or has this job been outsourced?
A Verizon eCenter Representative will be with you shortly. Thank you.
Agent Ebony has joined
Ebony: Chat ID for this session is 08191165740
Ebony: Hello. Thank you for choosing Verizon and visiting our Chat service. How can I help you today?
Luna: Hi Ebony, are you in America?
Ebony: Was there something I can assist you with today?
Luna: I just wanted to know if this call center was here in the U.S.
Ebony: We have them all over.
Ebony: Was there something that I can assist you with?
Luna: So, this job has been outsourced to another country for cheaper labor. That isn't good for the American middle class. Union proud! We want our jobs back!
Luna: Have a nice Day!
Ebony: You as well..Thank you.

2. She wasn't giving up her location
If she'd have typed that she was somewhere in the U.S., I was gonna ask her why she is crossing the picket line, is she a scab?

4. Did you report to her superior that you asked customer service a question and she wouldn't help you?
The only moral form of discrimination is that which places all the sensible people on one side of an issue and all the stupid people on the other side

3. I bet "Ebony" is a chatterbot
and not a real person at all!
It is good to know at least one person involved with this thread can act like an adult. It is not one of the DUmmies either but the poor agent who had to chat with her. Even if it is just a chatterbot.

What a bunch of loons.

so no matter what answer she gave, you would not be happy and continue to harass and harangue her. Real mature DUmmy. ::)

Uhm ..... does anyone know how long you would actually be on the phone and how many times you would have to talk to a superior if you were having a problem with a governmental office? ANY governmental office?

Assuming that they did not drop the call because they do not know how to use their own phone system, a damn long time. :argh:

Better to be a scab than a unionbot. A scab is generally a sign of healing.
-
Right up there with having Mike Hunt paged at the mall. Get a life, DUmmie.

Ebony?
:racist: of the OP! See how they like having the racist card used on them!

Ebony didn't take long to figure out she had been contacted by a whacko and politely hung up. Good for her!

Can you imagine this poor lady goingto work, just to be harassed by a mentally deficient asshole?
-
Funny. Someone I used to work with just got a job at a Verizon call center. She lives in the same one whore town I do.

Verizon has a call center here, too.

I think this was an online chat. Do you really think a DUmmie would record and transcribe a conversation, when he/she/it could copy and paste?
-

One whore town. As in small, but, there are many horses.

How big of a f-ing friendless loser do you have to be to harass the Verizon e-Chat reps?

I wish I had that kind of time to waste during the day.
It must be difficult deciding to watch Judge Judy or Two And A Half Men reruns.

Any time a DUmmy starts out by using the word "actual", you can be certain it's an attempted bouncy.

I didn't know anyone was having a strike.

You are lucky. I found out when a lib on my Facebook started to make post after post supporting the strike. I even have ads on my Facebook asking people to support them and sign petitions. I have to wonder just what good a petition would do when it would just have the names of the strikers and the rest are people who don't even use Verizon service. Meaningless lib busy work to make others feel like they are "making a difference" I guess.
Drove to the library yesterday in my tiny town and passed the Verizon building. Two strikers shuffling around with professionally made signs. When I drove home it was three. Can't even be bothered to show up on time to strike. :whatever:

I didn't either until a week ago. I guess the Verizon employees are on strike because they will have to contribute to their own health care. ::)

I think they wanted a bit of an extended summer vacay like Obie. Appears the strike is over ( also known as reality set in ). I can see it now, walking the picket line with a bluetooth! Ring, ring, whatcha mean no one knows we're on strike?? Ok sweetie, got to hang up now, looks like your mom is trying to get through.
NEW YORK (Reuters) – About 45,000 Verizon Communications employees are set end a two-week strike and return to work by Tuesday after the telephone company and unions said they reached an agreement to resume bargaining.

Darn this lousy Bush economy! Wait, what? Obama's economy? Oh the shame, the shame. :rotf:

It's over. Good. No one out side of hard core union bots supported this crap anyway. There is not much support in the public for unions these days. Hell most of the strikers probably didn't want to play chicken with Verizon to begin with but didn't want to put up with tugs bullying them at work either. Besides, if they dragged this out too much longer Verizon would have had no problem hiring new workers in this economy. I was about to send them my resume.
I hope it counted against their vacation time.
-
Oh great, harass some low-wage call center stiff. What's next, calling up the local convenience store and asking them if they have Prince Albert in a can?
These genius-IQ DUers, I tell ya, they're a laff riot. I can almost hear Butthead laughing in the background.
Uhh-huh-huh...uh-huh...uh-huh-huh...

H5. I love those commercials.

I wish my negative attitude co-workers would go on strike. I'd love to cross that picket line. :)

Poor girl at the call center has to deal with a nut. Call center jobs can't be much fun to begin with. Having to handle angry customers all the time, hoping the next time they have to help someone, the person on the other end is at least civil.
I'm glad she ended the discussion.
