TOTUS must have had a couple with the bus driver, Ralph Cramdon.
The president, on day three of his Midwest bus tour, replied: “If you hear something is happening, but it hasn’t happened, don’t always believe what you hear.â€
When the room broke into soft laughter, the president added, “No — and I’m serious about that.â€
Now who are you goin ta believe, me or your own lyin eyes? :whatever:

The buck stops....when you give up or shoot yourself.
I had a 6 year running battle with the IRS over a mistaken refund they made that they refuse to take back. Then a few years later when they discovered their mistake they wanted to charge me penalty and interest on it. It was a rather small amount really and my CPA begged me to just pay it but it was the principle of the whole thing. I finally showed my ass and got it resolved.

I had a similar problem with the VA. When they finally figured out they were wrong I sent them a check and kept the interest. But they got some real stubbon when it comes to believing they made a mistake.
