Anti-Obama Outrage Erupts at Congressional Black Caucus
Edited on Wed Aug-17-11 02:00 PM by florida08
Video at link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/44175058#441750...
Sparks flew Tuesday during the Congressional Black Caucus "For the People Jobs Tour" town hall in Detroit, MI, as black caucus members told the mostly black audience to "unleash" them to confront President Barack Obama on the issue of jobs.
During the sometimes heated town hall, peoples' frustration over their economic conditions overwhelmed decorum and order.
California Rep. Maxine Waters expressed her and other Black Caucus members' dilemma of having to walk a line. As representatives from communities that have had great love for President Barack Obama, it can be anywhere from difficult to impossible for Waters and the other members to be as critical of the president as she wanted to be.
"We don't put pressure on the president," said Waters. "Let me tell you why. We don't put pressure on the president because ya'll love the president. You love the president. You're very proud...to have a black man ...First time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you're going after us."
People are hurting..anger is rising.

1. What Rep. Waters said was just manipulative bullshit.

So you are telling the people who they love? Telling them? Telling them what they will do if you go after him?
That's a bunch of bullshit excuses, lady. And it doesn't sound like those people are buying it one bit.

6. I think she means that
if they go after him, he'll be seen as a failure and no other black person will ever enter that position again...it would be the same with a women...they'd be held up as comical punch lines of failure everytime a woman or minority tried to run again.
He is a failure and his rain of errors may ruin it for any Competent black person in the future.
It's fun to watch the DUmmies dance around their barely controlled racism.

What a racist Maxine Waters is. Imagine disagreeing with the first black president.

I find it to be utterly disgusting. She is saying that if he was white she'd be up in his face, but since he is black, she doesn't want to do that without permission from "their kind". No white congressman would worry about that with a white president, and no one should have to worry about with Obama either.

The CBC has to be assertive because their constituents are in a world of hurt right now.
We have to be assertive because we are, too, with or along side of them.
If we elected an adult, he can handle it.

30. I have the most utmost respect for the CBC
I posted the video mainly so we could hear what the voters are feeling..not to attack the members who have a tough job explaining why thing's are not getting better in their communities. So please be kind and thoughtful in your posts about them.
THEM? How racist of you.

Maxine Waters (Marxist-CA)
We don't know why on this trip that he's in the United States now, he's not in any black communities. We don't know that.
Because his approval rating with blacks in the inner cities is virtually 100% and they're all going to vote for him. If he would issue a decree that all inner city blacks are to be rounded up and shot, his approval rating would drop to 99.9% with blacks in the inner cities. You're slaves, he knows it, and he treating you that way. Why are you surprised? The Dem party has taken you fools for granted for years now, they have no reason to change.

Another one, this one from Doug's stupid ex-wife.
.....along side.....
nadinostradamus seems to have had a great orthological influence on Skins's island, the way the primitives have been splitting words into two lately.

They are worthy successors to Pam Dawson's brush with death at the laundry mat, and DUmmy TwixVoy's almost-job at the air port, foiled by a racist drug test

Anyone want a rotting pony corpse?

so the members of the CBC have to go to the tribe to get permission to confront the president on their concerns simply because the president is a (half) black man? How pathetic is that?

lol. Like they won't march lockstep with the big Zero in November 2012. Lots of sound and fury, signifying nothing... :whatever:

Yeah, he'll still get 95% of the Blacks who show up to vote, BFD. This is just the Black Caucus trying to keep up their own Black racist cred with the people that will be voting on their own re-elections.

I'm not so sure about that, I think they'll say they're going to vote for him, but when they're in the booth? a lot are going to vote Republican.

WATERS: We don't put pressure on the president.
CROWD: That's right!
WATERS: Let me tell you why: We don't put pressure on the president because y'all loooove the president.
CROWD: No! (grumbling, shouting)
WATERS: You loooove the president. You're very proud. You're very proud to have a black man...
CROWD: That's right! Yes, we are.
WATERS: ...first time in history of the United States of America.
CROWD: (shouting)
WATERS: If we go after the president too hard, you going after us. When you tell us it's all right --
CROWD: It's all right! (shouting)
WATERS: When you tell us it's all right and you unleash us, and you tell us you're ready for us to have this conversation, we're ready to have the conversation!
Maxine Waters is saying members of the Congressional Black Caucus are on a leash. Sounds...racist. :whistling:

Their million dollar welfare payment hasn't made it to their mailbox yet. I'd be upset, too.

He is a failure and if blacks and anyone who voted on this idea they were giddy to make some insignificant bug print in history to say they were a part of it should get wise and realize next time they want to vote somebody in office based on firsts or skin color alone or what is between someone's legs alone, then maybe they'd be wise to consider what's between their ears and under their life experience belt along with those things. There is nothing inherently wrong with having a black president, what is wrong is that many people voted him in solely because of his skin color. THEY are the ones who have probably made it difficult for anyone like him to get voted in again. If you are going to vote based on superficial qualities, at least vote first on what they are about and then vote the superficial secondary. Of course, the argument could also be they voted him for that too...he sold the stupid and the greedy amongst the bottom feeders a line and they bought it hook line and sinker for only two reasons: it's what they wanted to hear and he is a (partially) black man. For those who don't relate racially, they voted like a bunch of band wagon stargazers who wanted to be part of the next reality tv wave by riding the O train. I wouldn't say this except for hearing first hand women, in particular, giggling silly like a bunch of teenage girls in the front row of a Justin Beiber concert at the mere mention of the O back during election year and shortly after.
