HAMAS’ CAIR Netwk In Love With Rick Perry (& It’s Mutual)
By Debbie Schlussel
We’ve already had one Islamo-pandering Texas Republican Governor as President. We don’t need another, in Texas Governor Rick Perry. The first version of him, Gov. George W. Bush, beat Al Gore in getting the Islamic endorsement, then squandered the next eight years in the White House giving Muslims special treatment and increasing their immigration numbers to America.
And so it’s in that vein that I can’t understand the fascination by some normally good people with Rick Perry. My friend, Michael Reagan–who normally gets it on the Islamic threat–endorsed Perry for President.

And so it begins.... :whatever:

Yes, but they love Obama more. Since, well, he is a muslim.
-
Seriously, CG--get off the 100-percenter kick. Perry isn't perfect, but if anyone is going to put a knot in the panties of the Obama 2012 campaign right now, it's him. Not Paul, not Bachman, not Romney.
The devil you know versus the devil you don't, yadda yadda yadda....

100-percenter kick? Not one of them has proved that he or she deserves my vote. That's MY 100%.

Congratulations on doing your part to ensure a second Obama term, then.

You really should shut your piehole, since you don't know what the **** you're talking about.

Perry's not been perfect for me, either, as a Texan. There are things he supported that were just flat out wrong. But he's plenty conservative for Washington DC, and he's more conservative than a handful of the other names on the list, and he would gladly have my vote when it comes to my choice between him and Obama.

On the one hand, any candidate has to at least be polite and considerate to any religious, ethnic, or racial group that goes into the total electorate. There are a few million Moslems in the US (Not as many as CAIR claims, but a few million nonetheless). With a base that size, you can't just shit on their religion without fatal political consequences, whether you agree with what they serve up or not.
On the other hand, being nice to them is only worth so much minimal effort, since like the Black churches, the destination of 98% of their votes is pretty much a foregone conclusion, and it ain't the GOP guy that's gonna get 'em.

My, my, my...testy, aren't we? I'm telling you based on REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE. So-called "conservatives" stayed home in 2006.
We got a Democrat-majority House and Senate.
So-called "conservatives" stayed home in 2008, or at best held their noses and voted for McCain.
We got MORE Democrats in Congress and the most leftist president since Woodrow Wilson, and all the bullshit that comes with it.
I'm involved in state and local politics, and have been since I moved here. I'm a student of history and of politics. I base my observations not on emotion or butthurt as you do, but on FACTS.
If that offends you, tough teat. So do me the courtesy of shutting your ****ing worthless shitstain piehole before I expose you for the pantywaisted little ****stain wannabe you are starting to become. You have one of the thinnest skins on here, and for that, you need to cowboy the **** up, mkay? You don't like what I have to say? Tough shit. Deal with it, or sack your shit. Next time you order me to do anything, then I'll get REALLY pissed at ya.

Let it be known that I'm voting republican even if it's Sam the trash man on their ticket. Now, having said that, I hope the republican candidate, a true conservative and winner, hasn't gotten in the race yet.

Newsflash--Reagan's still dead.

I know that...but his replacement is out there somewhere. The question is, who is it and will he get in the race and win?

I look at it this way--how much shit would be flung about Reagan in 2011 versus 1979? He was divorced, a former Democrat (RINO!!!), had ties to Libertarians, former governor of a huge liberal state, yadda yadda yadda....
See? I can play in the shit just like everyone else!

Never underestimate the power of conservatives to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
-
The twit bases this on what? That Muslims donated to his gubernatorial campaign after the (D)Palestinian candidate quit and endorsed him over White? That he laid a brick at an Ismaili center? Friendship with the Aga Khan?
Dimwit Debbie needs to do some research rather than rely on Salon.com for 'facts'.

Up yours. I have voted Republican and Conservative in every election for which I was qualified to vote. I have NEVER voted for a Dem, and I have NEVER just stayed home.
Quite flying off the handle and misinterpreting things you think I say. Show me one instance where I've supported anything but Conservatives and Republicans.

Quit acting so ****ing butthurt and get behind SOMEONE. Your "perfect" candidate doesn't exist. Deal with it.

What exactly was your point in the OP? That a pundit gives some questionably-sourced information about Perry and Islam? What point, exactly, were you trying to make there?

It means that I have to think long and hard about Perry. Combined with what's been said here about him by Texans, it's another load on the camel.
-
And as I've stated previously, even Reagan, who most of us would agree we'd want running again if he existed, had plenty of baggage and would be no stranger to slams and slurs.
-
A lot of Reagan's real virtues in the job only became apparent after he was in it. An election is a best bet on the future, out of a very limited set of choices.

Me, too. But I don't think it'll happen.
