OK, I admit it. I will openly discriminate against the highly religious in the 2012 elections.

Call me a bigot. I don't ****ing care. But I have absolutely no respect for the highly religious, and I do not want one in the Oval Office.
If you're a Pentecostal who speaks in tongues, I don't want you speaking for me.
If your idea of preparing for the campaign trail is getting blessed by a crazy preacher who was literally hunting "witches" in Africa, I don't want you giving your blessing as President to the routine oppression of everyone from Muslims to atheists to gays and lesbians.
If you wear magic underwear and think it protects you from fire and bullets, I don't want you swearing an oath to protect and defend the United States. Because I don't think you're sufficiently centered in reality to properly manage the country's problems.
If your solutions for pressing state and national problems is prayer, or as Bill Maher put it, "YEEHAW!!! JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!!!", I don't want you at the helm of the ship of state.
If your history on GLBT issues includes having a husband with a "Pray-The-Gay-Away" clinic, I don't want you anywhere near the levers of power that give you control over civil rights, health policy or anything else of substance.
If your worldview's projections of the future includes the return of long-dead deities, apocalyptic wars, extermination of infidels, the end of the world, firestorms, death, dogs and cats living together, and mass hysteria, I DON'T WANT YOUR FINGER ON THE ****ING BUTTON!!!
If there were any all-out open atheists on the ticket, I'd be likely to be supporting them, but as atheists are still second-class citizens, I'm stuck trying to figure out which candidates can keep the effects of their delusions about magical sky-daddies down to a dull-roar and out of their judgments as President.
Sad, isn't it?

It's amazing how much these people hate something they don't believe in.

We already know that.
Give it a rest.
You are a bigot. Feel better now?
I suppose we could drop a few more on you if you really, really want.
Does..... DUmbass fit?
Works for me.
Bend over, bite the pillow, you're sorry ass is ours.

Seems to me that they're just anti-christian bigots. I don't see any negative reference to any other faith or belief system in that post, or pretty much any post over there.

INtolerance is certainly a basis for the Democratic party, as a whole. It's all about not tolerating Christians, "the rich," the unborn, and any minority person that doesn't walk in lockstep with their intolerant, government-worshiping belief system.

But they want us to tolerate them.

They are indeed. My assertion with those over there is they don't even understand their own issues. Which really makes them nothing more then a bunch of headcase crybabies who any amateur shrink could easily diagnose from their living room armchair. Because of their obvious bias towards the Christian faith it's not hard to deduce that they are from that background themselves in one form or the other. So their disagreement is not with religion per se, but they are just children rallying against their roots like impetuous teenagers. When I can find one that calmly and honestly can discuss his faith(even if its faith in nothing) as just his personal belief system or aiming his vitriol at religion as a whole including his sing songie dipshit hippy brigade over there who belief in tree and earth deities, then I'll believe this person actually has a disdain at religion as a whole. As it is, the obvious conclusion is that the dummie is incapble of hiding his own jaded experience with the religion that predominates his homeland of origin. That 'jadedness' is what forms his opinion and view of religion. Like a dog tapping down the handle that brings him food in a behavioral experiment, the dummy continues to tap the handle of injustice because at some point he lost all rational perspective to discriminate between the sins of individuals and an individual church versus the foundation of a beautiful faith. Dummies=not so bright and not so smart and definitely lacking in any rational perspective at all. Now THAT is what I don't want to have its hand on the trigger...an overemotional, irrational mess of a person who makes decisions and forms views based on their own bias without considering that fact that they may indeed have a bias. I love how these hypocrites scream 'phobic' this and phobic that when they have such an obvious hatred of certain types of people.

No, we already tolerate them, they want us to approve of them, despite their hatred for us.

Any reason why he left Islam out of his little hissy fit tirade?

And this is different...HOW?
Call me a bigot. I don't ****ing care. But I have absolutely no respect for the highly religious, and I do not want one in the Oval Office.

He may be speaking ABOUT you, or maybe he's from Mexico.
If your idea of preparing for the campaign trail is getting blessed by a crazy preacher who was literally hunting "witches" in Africa, I don't want you giving your blessing as President to the routine oppression of everyone from Muslims to atheists to gays and lesbians.
Sounds better than a candidate that spent 20 years in the church of a preacher that routinely screamed "GODD@*# AMERICA!" from the pulpit.
If you wear magic underwear and think it protects you from fire and bullets, I don't want you swearing an oath to protect and defend the United States. Because I don't think you're sufficiently centered in reality to properly manage the country's problems.
Yours was call the "Magic Negro". Does that count?
If your solutions for pressing state and national problems is prayer, or as Bill Maher put it, "YEEHAW!!! JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!!!", I don't want you at the helm of the ship of state.
This country came to be by men just like that. Not Bill Maher, but Jefferson, Hamilton, Washington, Franklin, etc. Bill Maher is just a moron.
If your history on GLBT issues includes having a husband with a "Pray-The-Gay-Away" clinic, I don't want you anywhere near the levers of power that give you control over civil rights, health policy or anything else of substance.
You're just afraid you "special friend" will go straight, and leave you dateless.

OMG! IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! My dogs and cats DO live together. Look around yourself, DUmbass. We're heading into the 5th level of Hell now!

We've elected a Catholic and a Muslim as presidents already. I'm sure we could elect an atheist as well.
Sad, isn't it?
For you, yes.

Any reason why he left Islam out of his little hissy fit tirade?
He claims he loves atheists, so muzzies fit the bill just as well.

BUT, he didn't name Islam did he? as we know, if he did, the thread would be locked because it would be insensitive.

UNLESS, he was talking about Republicans, in which case, no problem.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other- John Adams

Ding! We have a winner!
big·ot (bgt)
n.
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
Boy it must really and truly suck to go through life as a Libtard, all that pent up hatred and intolerance for one's fellow man. :mental:

UNLESS, he was talking about Republicans, in which case, no problem.
Of course! Hypocrisy on display.

Just a guess...
Cuz Christians don't go lopping off infidel's heads with rusty spoons, silly!
-
Really? I go to Mass every week, nobody has told me this, how come I never get the memo's?
I was going to say the same thing. Jeez. I miss EVERYTHING! :-)

Any reason why he left Islam out of his little hissy fit tirade?
Did not want to include Obama?

Hard core leftists have no morals. But, because they cannot get rid of the nagging guilt brought on by willful immoral behavior and thought, they are repulsed by anyone who might represent the good and the wholesome. They cannot stand the sight of the word God or of a cross or of a church nor can they suffer to sit in silence during public prayer (which is NOT unconstitutional).
As pointed out, the left's version of "tolerance" is cloaked tyranny. Their version of tolerance and the right's version of tolerance are completely different concepts.
