Just got back from the straw poll
Pretty much nirvana for a Republican. All white people, free food and bling, what more could a right-wing corporate welfare queen ask for.
Decided to stop in during my bike ride to check out the GE Wind Power display.
Big mistake.
Parked my bike at a location where I would minimize my penetration into little Bavaria to get to the wind display. I still had to walk by the 'Mid-South Tea Party' stage where a '9-11 Survivor' was going on about Islam. When I pass the stage 5 minutes later still going on about how they defeated the 'victory mosque' yada yada yada. Couple of women walked by with sandwich boards with pictures of fetuses and some typical anti-abortion message.
5 minutes was more than enough.

Sounds like an MSNBC staff meeting.

Just got back from visiting DU.
Pretty much nirvana for a lunatic liberal. Mostly lazy white people, demanding free stuff from people who work for a living, what more could a left-wing welfare queen ask for.
Decided to stop in during my bike ride to check out the DU "ideas that have succeeded" display and the "tolerance and love" display.
Big mistake. There wasn't anything there to check out.
Parked my bike at a location where I hoped the DU denizens wouldn't steal it. I still had to walk by the DU "Terrorist are Wonderful Group" who was having a pep rally for Islam. When I pass the stage 5 minutes later still going on about how America should just bow down to the terrorists of the world. Couple of women walked by with sandwich boards with pictures of fetuses and some "Let us kill them because we demand to" message.
5 minutes was more than enough.

Yeah, this one is a real stinker.

H5 for the edit.

Between turning the US into East St. Louis, or Little Bavaria, the choice is a no-brainer. And Bavaria is actually a pretty cosmopolitan place, but with a lot of awareness of a rich heritage, rural and urban both, just for you lurking Teutophobes.

Was it East St. Louis that had police cruisers repossessed a few years ago?
Maybe it was Gary, IN.
One of those blue meccas.

That really happened somewhere?
Edit to add:
I just found an article that said 4 of 5 were repoed in Alexander County, Illinois: link (http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500803_162-5350588-500803.html)

Yup, I remember that.
Kind of funny in a way.
Those of us in our area have much the same.
Young guys trying to break into major LEO employment, and seem to think writing tickets is the key.
They try to be overbearing. Usually doesn't work with us older folks.
They try, they learn, I respect them for that.
No way would I want their job.

Admirable.

Yup. Great one, Chuck, and an H5.
