Ann Coulter joins gay conservative group

Right-wing provocateur Ann Coulter has joined the advisory board of GOProud, a small Washington, D.C.-based organization that represents gay conservatives, the group announced Tuesday.
Coulter has long been a supporter of the advocacy group, which claims the support of a string of high-profile conservatives, including anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, online media mogul Andrew Breitbart, and Republican strategist Roger Stone, all of whom serve on the organization's advisory board.
"I am honored to serve in this capacity on GOProud's Advisory Council, and look forward to being the queen of fabulous," Coulter said in a statement.
Coulter headlined GOProud's first national meeting last fall, where she sparred with attendees over gay marriage, a policy she personally opposes.
"Gay rights advocate" might not be the first thing that comes to mind for most people when they think of Coulter--who calls herself "the right-wing Judy Garland"--but she says that she has a secret gay fan base.
I have long wondered...........a Conservative Queer is not as queer as a Liberal Progressive Queer - but there is nothing queer about that ! That is just logical !

I don't hate gay people and what consenting adults want to do together in private is entirely up to them alone. What I don't care for at all is the corruption of 'marriage' in a way the human race has gotten along fine without for the entirety of recorded history until 10 years ago, and the promotion of flamboyant homosexuality as a normal lifestyle.

Not that you needed another H5, but I just added one. On that issue we agree entirely. I am sick and tired of feeling like folks are trying to impose their beliefs on others. I am just as offended by bible thumpers ringing my doorbell. When we go to church, we expect to be educated about God and the bible, but it is our choice.
Live and let live is a two way street. What they want to do is up to them but stop trying to change my beliefs along the way.

Not just to change your beliefs, but to force their beliefs down your throat.

DUmmies just hate GOProud and the Log Cabin Republicans. Same way they hate black conservatives. Just tans their hide.
My conservatism is largely economic. I have no problem with these groups or if Ann would care to join. It's entirely their business.
