POLL:
Looking past Barry because my gut tells me he may not be on the ticket I wonder which horse they'll run in the big race of 2012.
Take your pick or write in your own prediction.

I'm beginning to think the O will be on the ticket for one reason. The rats know its a lost cause. Any rat who runs will loose. If one does go for it, it will be a 2nd stringer tossed out just for show.
A lot of rats could beat O in a primary, and look good doing it too...so where are they? Hiding until 2016, that's where!
Frankly I would like to see Pelosi or Boxer run, just to see them crushed. But I doubt Hillary will even toss her hat in the ring. I think she gave up.
Of the ones listed, Andrew Cuomo might have a chance as the first gay to run.

Dennis Kucinich 2012!!!!!!!1111111 :panic:

I think Hitlery is poised to jump in if Teh One falters or just for some reason isn't in the picture. Her machine permeates the current Oministration in either leading or shadow positions in every important area, and the same is true of the party itself (To the extent there's a difference, as politicized as the Oministration is). I believe she and her machine have a sense that 2016 is too late jsut in terms of age, and as tough as it might be to get elected as a Dem after 4 year of Obama, it's going to be damned near impossible after 8 years of him.

I hear they will ditch Biden and run a Obama/Jeremiah Wright ticket in 2012. Wright is not as prone to gaffes.

And doesn't contradict the boss as often...

An interesting aspect of there being no primary fight among the Dems is that it means Obama's candidacy doesn't get much free press coverage or public interest until the general election. While there is some advantage to being the uncontested candidate in that no Democrats will sticking their necks out to say what an idiot he is (And then being branded as racists for their trouble), it also means he doesn't get any attention for several months when the stories are all going to be about the Republicans.

OTOH, he s ow on a bus tour through flyover states and that will garner him free publicity for now.

Why not just run Michelle as VP. Obama/Obama 2012. She's every bit as narcissistic as he is, and that will give her even more power over school lunch menus. Plus, there's just not that many VP candidates who would want to wreck their career by spending time as Obama's running mate in this election.

Another issue is the scorched earth primary that would almost certainly result, witness 1980. No matter who won that one, they were going to lose the general, and the same would apply in 2012.

The Dems' only hope in a primary would be a moderate. Find a moderate democrat these days. I dare you. Casey from PA? Just throwing a name out there.

The DUmmies think that they need a more liberal candidate to challenge 0bama. They are truly lunatics.

Why not Obama/Obama 2012. His white half can run as VP and his black half as president.
