I get the feeling that Brenda here is a little inexperienced with guns, although she must live in an open carry state:

Guy in front of me today had a gun strapped to his belt.....

at the gas station. I was right behind him. He evidently was having some problems with his debit/credit card which gave me ample time to just stare at that deadly metal thing on his right hip. Like what...is THIS the Wild, Wild West all of a sudden?
After he left, the cashier and I both looked at each other like...what was THAT all about? She said that he was a regular customer and gestured with a swirling to one of her ears as if to motion (you know) the universal "crazy" signal and I said something to the effect of - Oh No! NOT a good combination!
Now. Here is the reason I am posting this: Normally (and initially) I would just go all OFF the deep end..thinking - OMG...this guy is a ticking time bomb. Frustrated with the way this world is headed and no one is being accountable etc...Based only upon his rather scrawny and lackluster appearance...I ASSUMED that like...what? He's going to be the one to just "SNAP" and kill a bunch of innocent bystanders in a moments notice.
See ya'll...here's my lesson here, albeit it hindsight and 20/20. I'll never really KNOW FOR SURE...his "intentions" at all.
A) COULD BE that he actually IS a walking, ticking time-bomb and could just SNAP any minute because of all the injustices as of late!
B) COULD BE that he only just wants to look like a bad-ass toting some heat just cause he can - and it is nothing more than that.
C) COULD BE that he has a job where he needs to carry it to kill some, I dunno rabid raccoons or other vermin or something.
D) COULD BE that he is just ready to participate in some kind of target shooting practice/event at the drop of the hat.
Again...see ya'll...THIS is the lesson...ya just never can tell! For me, I opted for "A"..in my mind...but I will never know for sure and hence, the reason I am posting this. (Please learn from my ignorance).
HAD I known and figured out what I know now..examples: A-D options...I would have opted for none at all! Keeping an open mind. I think that I would have just casually walked up to him in an unassuming manner and just simply asked, Hey! - What cha got there? (with authentic interest) Unassuming-like. Is that a .38 or .44? Remington, Smith & Wesson, Colt? Full metal jacket or hollow point?
See, from there I figure that I could have maybe (possibly) got into his head as to just what the heck he is doing with a gun strapped to hip and more importantly...just WHY..and his motivations.
If his reasoning was logical and such and NOT an immediate threat that he was like going to - all of a sudden - "snap" at any minute...no biggie.
But...and this is a BIG BUT....if it did appear as if he might sway towards the ends as being a little unstable...whacko or something - well here's the kicker and where the ultimate judgement call lies. Here is where all of us must rally to the side of prevention.
Which is the REAL REASON for me posting this to begin with!
But it is a bit of a slippery process. Let's not slip over the innocents...but by the same token...not ignore potential danger either.
::)

Or option E) COULD BE that he knows that DUmmies and their ilk like to steal what others have worked hard for so he carries to prevent that, and he carries on his belt because he knows that DUmmies and their ilk are usually a cowardly lot that are less likely to steal from someone that they know is carrying which means he is less likely to have to kill a thieving DUmmie and go through all the police paperwork and hassles that would result from such an action if he carries openly.

F. A cop is to big to carry on his hip.
BrendaBrick, you are an idiot.

Excuse me? Who elected you judge, jury, and executioner? Here is a clue for you BrendaBrickforabrain- mind your own damn business. If I want to lawfully carry a weapon, that is none of your concern, so let's just leave it at that.
Now, get lost, before I put a tear in your wings.

"G) I could have kept my mouth shut and minded my own business, since he was acting perfectly normal and it was legal for him to carry a pistol in that manner...oh wait, I'm a Democrat, my own business IS trying to control what everyone else does!"

My suggestion to BrendaBrickforabrain next time is to grab the pistol, to teach the guy a valuable lesson.
I remember a DUmmie FUnnies a long time back that quoted a DUmmie saying that he was going to do just that to the next person he sees carrying, to teach him a lesson on just how unsafe it is to carry. I'm sure it would end well.
-
I was just imagining what this DUmmie will be thinking if she happens to be in that convenience store while it is being robbed at gun point sometime.
You just know she will be wishing on her lucky stars that she will see Mr. :mental: with his "deadly metal thing" as she desperately shoots glances around the store assessing the situation.
****ing drama Queen.
-
Oh for cripes sake! This DUmbass, OneBrickShortOfaPallet, ( I'll lay odds it's more than one brick! ), should scurry her ugly little ass up here to N. Idaho! If ya don't see somebody carryin', that would be the exception! She'd go absolutely "Postal" durin' huntin' season!
Ya'd think we didn't have a Second Amendment or sumpin'!
What a c**t!
Anyone know where this idiot resides?

Don't laugh. DUmmy Brenda is every bit as gun-savvy as the authors of the democrat "assault weapons ban".

Come to think of it, maybe she was just staring at his gentleman's sausage.

I wonder if Frank is willing to take one for the team by hopping in the sack with one of the no name primitives.

After reading the initial post again I'm beginning to wonder about the alleged weapon carrier. Look at the below points:
1) Recognized as crazy by a normal working person (the cashier).
2) Scrawny and lackluster appearance.
3) He's going to be the one to just "SNAP"
As most DUmmies are against weapons, carrying one would be very hypocritical which matches the DUmmie M.O.

Or....
G) i) [me thinking, as I spied the gun-toter] Dayum! I forgot to strap on some iron! What dahell was I thinking?
-
Brenda was probably looking at his waist while waiting for an opportune time to swipe his wallet, when her eyes became transfixed on the hogleg instead and thought better of it.
-
Ya gotta love how DUmmies react to someone exercising their Contitutionally protected rights. This is what they are all about.
:whatever:

She would wet her panties if she ever ran into me. I open carry all the time. :rotf:

And did this idiot ever notice that cops open-carry all of the time? What a little crybaby.

There are a few that are jumping on her. Kind of impressed. :lmao:

I apologise to those that may believe I am racist's ---sorry
Profile, profile, profile. See some gibbering guy coming down the street at you, filthy and has a scared face from crack. How many Libs. will profile this man and cross the street.
Standing in line at a taco stand and 8 teens with gang headware are there. Most Libs will ease out of line and go else where.
You are standing in line at a store and when the man in a suit reaches for his wallet, Darn he is armed.
You are in the same place and a 18 year old with a tee shirt that is obscene gives you a flash of his GATT.
The man or woman in the suit may be police or just anyone that can get a cc licence. why not if I can get one, anyone with a clean record can also.
What about the kid with the gun, that is the one to profile.
To profile is the very human nature for survival, we must be aware. To find a car load of Muslims stopped for speeding in the hills of Vermont gives rise to what the Hell are they doing here???
We had a funny case up here about 18 months ago. An off duty cop wearing Civvies went into a Wallgreen and some one noticed the back holster for his gun. Cops are never OFF duty and in some places required to be armed at all times.
The Cop had borrowed his sons beat up old truck to go shopping, left the store and all hell broke out.
A 3 state alarm was put out on the truck, for 60 precious minutes the police were tied up looking for that truck. All the mayham that took place had to be suspended to find a truck that ONE PERSON called in about.
New Hampshire is a good state to live in to open carry, as long as one does not attend a political rally.

I have been to a few here in VA and I have seen several people OC at them. As a matter of fact a good friend OC'd in the state house along with several others.
What is the problem with NH?

Whacha talkin 'bout Willis?? I don't remember any problems with open carry at political rallies. You got something specific in mind? Now there were some folk upset at an open carry at one of the local parks.
I would much rather see a couple of folk in a park open carrying than a couple 'thespians' playing tonsil hockey. :puke:
