This is a collection of threads that all do the same thing, blame Republicans and the TEA Party for the downgrade because there was no taxes levied on the wealthy. Even though all the articles they link to are claiming the reason for the downgrade is because the spending cuts aren't soon enough or deep enough. I predict soon DUmp threads will link to each other as 'proof' that taxation was the correct answer.
Here is a selection of threads...

Oh yes, NadinBiotch is over there spreading her financial wisdom. Remember, she's very smart and world finances is just another one of her areas of expertise.
But then again, so is Google.

The only thing she could spread is VD.

I noticed this - they even had one thread containing an S&P quote that was never said. The blowhard did weigh in, of course:

I know how much this is going to be downplayed but this is why my tummy is churning. This is part of the fall of empire... but buckle up kids... this ride is going to get even more "amusing."
but this is my favorite thread so far:

Hey DUmmies, just a hint about why people hate you and why Obama's going to lose (Which is totally safe to give you, since you're too dogmatic and slack-jawed to take it anyway):
"Own success. Own failure."

Naaaah. Not a chance. TiTty Boi would have outed itself by now.

That is one thing they never do - 48 hours ago - the bill was a strategic win for Obama, because he triced the stupid GOP to pushing back the cut to a time where their perceived Democratic congressional takeover would nix the cuts in the future, giving Obama the 'clean bill' he wanted in the end.
Now there are two reasons to blame the GOP according to potatological thinking..
A ) No immediate taxes on the wealthy.
B ) Obama's 'Grand Deal' was rejected which would have had the bases covered with heavier cuts to Medicare and other 'New Deal' initiatives.
They can't admit that the TEA party was right -
Cut the waste - and cut it NOW.

They can twist, turn, and spin all they want to, because justly or unjustly, this kind of stuff sticks to Presidents, not Congresses.

Wasn't Harry S Truman that had this saying on his desk in the Oval Office:
THE BUCK STOPS HERE

They reject the notion of the ownership society.

Yep, one of the few things he got right, but he understood that one perfectly. It's true of good news too, of course - Clinton is remembered as a positive economic President because he had the good fortune to be elected when the internet boom was taking off, and re-elected while it was still climbing. Pure serendipity, of course, but it all redounded to his credit with the public. If he had not had an opposition-controlled Congress for the last six of his eight years in office, his own party platform would have led to ruinous social spending, entitlement increases, and new environmental laws which would have us much deeper in the hole now than we are already.
But, it's just human nature that "THE Leader" gets all the credit or blame, rather than a faceless collective of 535 people, who aren't even a single body but divided into two.

0bama has one like that only after the buck stops here, it has an arrow pointing to a picture of Bush.

No way. TiT was a vulgar, insane drunkard, but he was an eloquent writer.
Know-it-all nadin is more like Ricky Ricardo in drag.
