Scare at Wisconsin State Fair: witnesses describe mobs, some people claim racially-charged attacks

WEST ALLIS - Witnesses tell Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY'S TMJ4 of a mob of young people attacking innocent fair-goers at the end of the opening night of State Fair, with some callers claiming a racially-charged scene.
Milwaukee Police confirmed there were assaults outside the fair.
Witnesses' accounts claim everything from dozens to hundreds of young black people beating white people as they left State Fair Thursday night.
Authorities have not given official estimates of the number of people involved in the attacks.
"It looked like they were just going after white guys, white people," said Norb Roffers of Wind Lake in an interview with Newsradio 620 WTMJ. He left the State Fair Entrance near the corner of South 84th Street and West Schlinger Avenue in West Allis.

But as I said, we have a history. And that is an angle I don't discount completely.
It could also have been an initiation, again, another angle I would not discount.

26. These were the strategies used against the first black mayors of major urban areas
In the case of Chicago, you had Harold Washington. Essentially, the City Council basically refused to do ANYTHING, to OK ANY of the Mayor's initiatives, even stuff they had themselves proposed and approved in the past. This is the stonewalling strategy, and it worked. Much of the GOP's Congressional strategy since Obama was elected comes straight from the playbook of the Chicago City Council as they kneecapped Harold Washington at every turn. Needless to say, the whole operation depends on some rather unsavory notions about the ability of black men to complete tasks: the strategy doesn't work unless the racist idea - latent or otherwise - churns in the back of people's minds.
In the case of New York City, you had David Dinkins. Now, Dinkins was by no means a "great" mayor, but one of the more remarkable phenomena that emerged during Dinkins' tenure was an almost obsessive media interest with the "concept" of wilding - supposedly a "fad" among black youth to go out in large "mobs" as attack bystanders and commit other chaos. The most famous case of "wilding" was, of course, the Central Park jogger case, which saw a white women raped in Central Park, supposedly by a mob of black teenagers (they were convicted on their confessions, and sent to prison, but were later freed when DNA evidence proved they had nothing to do with the rape). All through the early 90's in New York you had these supposed "wilding" incidents, just as we now see the media obsessed with supposed "flash mobs" of black youth attacking people today. Of course, for those of us who were teenagers in NYC at the time, the whole thing was an obvious joke: there was no "trend" among black youths to go "wilding." Large gangs of teenagers (of all races) had been doing the same throughout New York City since the late-1960's. There was nothing new or unusual about the so-called "wilding" incidents - they were the same old muggings and robberies - just rebranded to get stuck conceptually on Dinkins. Black mayor: black teenagers going wild, attacking - gasp - white people. One need hardly mention that two cases of the exact same thing happening in reverse - the Howard Beach incident and the Bensonhurst incident - were both big news, though nobody called them "wilding" incidents, despite the fact that they seemed to constitute the SAME behavior.
So, we now see these same two tropes emerging nationally as we have our first black President: the absolute legislative stonewall leading to perceptions of ineffectiveness; the construction of a "new" epidemic of black mob violence.
It's clear enough where these tropes come from, and what their purpose is.

DUmbass Dummies. I like how the Koch brothers is the common answer to everything for them now. I remember when KBR held that role for awhile. Blackwater, I think, held it for awhile also. Every thing has to be political.
I know you demonratics like to think that black people can not act without some sort of instructions which, to you, means someone had to make them do this, and since these attacks will be viewed as a bad thing by normal and decent people you automatically assume that it had to be some conservative operative that were pulling these black folks' strings to somehow make liberals look bad. The fact of the matter is that liberals already look bad to normal and decent people. Normal and decent people also know that black people actually have brains inside of their skulls and are able to make decisions without input from others, and sometimes, such as in this case, some black people choose to act like animalistic idiots who do not deserve to exist within civilized society.
There are times that some white people act like animalistic idiots who do not deserve to exist within civilized society. When I see this occur I do not automatically think that Soros money must be involved. Do you? Or do you just jump to these conclusions when it is the other way around? If so, I would think that would make you racist.

I don't believe that, but I do believe that the 2 racial incidents that have happened in Milwaukee in the past month can affect the way the recall election goes and people being fed-up doesn't bode well for the Democrats.

Unless it happens in Milwaukee. It happened in the Riverwest area last month, same kind of situation, black mob attacks random non-black people. This took place around the same time when a group of black people flash mobbed and looted a BP gas station.

The ironic thing about the attacks in Riverwest is the politics of that area is very liberal. One wonders if any of the victims are rethinking their political view as a result. Probably not. It is easier to blame Walker, Darling, the GOP, Koch, Fox and Bush.

It looks like there was a similar incident at the Nebraska state fair back in May, http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/126825018.html, those Koch Bros are everywhere! It seems reasonable that any one of the major news networks might mention this. Imagine their reaction if the racial roles were reversed.
