That was in my youth in the late 50s and early 60s.

I can honestly say my own personal values and beliefs have not changed very much. I'm maybe a little more liberal than I was on some fiscal issues and maybe a little more conservative on some international issues, but I'm still pretty much as I always was.

So why am I being called part of the crazy, far left, fringe?

We want a chance to succeed and a social safety net for times like this.

We want civil liberties (I donate ACLU) and a secular society. That sums up why I am a liberal.

Funny, donating to an organization created by and ran by communists ("Roger Baldwin" ringing any bells?) isn't what those who value liberty traditionally do.
