So if North Dakota isn't technically a state,
I say hold out until they trade voting rights for DC.
Currently, ND has 1 Dem Senator, 1 Rep Senator and 1 Rep Rep. So we lose 1, they lose 2 AND their tendency to give their electoral votes to Republicans./quote]

For the record, there are 4 "states" that aren't states:
Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts are commonwealths, not states.
