Republicans Attack Obama For Having A Birthday Party

This could be a good camp fire. Equal mix of pro/con Obama posts. One was deleted while I refreshed the page.

Apparently, you’re not allowed to do anything other than create jobs, if you’re Barack Obama (Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs?). The right wing is going apoplectic because there is a star-studded Chicago fund-raiser in conjunction with his 50th birthday. How dare he!

“With 9.2 percent unemployment, he could work on creating jobs, but I suppose the White House is thinking he should stick to the part of his job he really likes,” said RNC spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski in an email statement.

GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney also took a swipe at Obama for the trip, publishing an online video Tuesday that highlights a spike in Chicago’s unemployment rate and falling housing prices over the past three years.

Do they also object that he does things like sleep at night, eat meals, and brush his teeth? Or does that take away from job creation? Are only Republicans allowed to have fundraisers? Republicans ran on a jobs platform that resulted in them taking over Congress. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs?

2. I'd like to see him work on jobs
I would like to see him just stick to working on his golf game and take his czars with him. Maybe the economy will at last be able to recover.

I wish I saved this one before it got memory holed. It was a good dig at Obama.  :(

DUmmies, the complaint isn't that Obama should not have a party it is the classless way he is using it as a fundraiser for himself.

I'd love to know how OFA's plan is going, to have a bunch of private birthday parties for Obama, complete with taped 50 minute speech.  It's for the losers and proles who can't afford a $38,000 ticket, but who want to express their love for Dear Leader with 50 of their closest friends.

Bush was constantly belittled for taking half the vaco time and paying for his own inauguration ball when the economy was growing at 4%+, unemployment under 5%, a soaring stock market.

Lets see, Bush's 60th:

President George W. Bush spent Thursday, his 60th birthday, meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Earlier this week, Bush celebrated with a White House party that included a buffet of shrimp and fried chicken.

He's half white too you DUchebag!
I'm sick and tired of the "black" card. His anti-American and anti-capitalist policies are what I hate.

Lets see, Bush's 60th:
Well, to be fair, Dubya turned 60 in '06. There was no election on his horizon, and had there been, in 2006 he was basking in the Great Bush Prosperity, so he would not have been nearly as worried as the jug-eared muslim is today.

Brass tacks to brass tacks, you would have to check what he did for his 57th birthday, in 2003.
(Since the Iraqi war was underway, he probably didn't do much.)

Also a little tidbit I picked up this morning:

Major fundraisers held first 30 months of presidency:

Clinton - 5
Bush - 7
Obama - 37

Yeah, that's about right.

41. Good Idea.
No luxuries either. Mediocre food, water and bathroom facilities ought to be enough. Oh and a doctor on call in case things get a little too heated in there.

News was reporting last night that besides the $35k per ticket to attend the "birthday" party, it was going to cost $10,000 to have a picture taken with Obama.

Now I hate to be ugly...but I wouldn't pay anyone $10,000 to have my picture taken with with them. There isn't anyone I like that well.

I would.

If it was Amanda Hudgens and she and I were naked the bragging rights alone would justify the cost.

Eh, maybe, but the idea was to show what Bush did for a milestone BD.

What was really the slammer for "MiniMe" (who probably isn't very "Mini", being a cheese-eating surrender DUmmie) is the fundraiser/b-Day Party was staffed with non Union service employees.

Bwahahahahahah!

The Kenyan is trying a different tack to shore up his ratings. In his daily televised speech a few minues ago, he once again had the peanut gallery bleachers behind him. It was like the Rahm days, before his approval rating started sliding downhill like an avalanch. So the peanut gallery must be an attempt to halt the slide.

I noticed one big difference, though. Today, the nodding, smiling halfwits behind the muslim were in suit and tie. In most democrat gatherings, suit and tie would be verboten, as being symbolic of the oppressor, The Man, the repukes.

The muslim's people seem to be trying to manufacture the illusion that decent people, the ones who are comfortable in suit and tie, are supporters.

DUmpmonkeys must be livid, seeing the nodding, smiling halfwits in suit and tie.
